It turns out that even Junior has a bridge too far.
It turns out that even Junior has a bridge too far.
“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Art Briles will be HC of a major college program in 2018 and it likely will be in the SEC. Everybody needs to just get used to it.

Not with the kind of backlash FAU just got for even suggesting he was informally consulting the team.

Remember Randy Quaid’s iconic explanation, ‘the shitter’s full’?
Well he wasn’t talking about Lane Kiffin. There is an infinite amount of situational shit-space in Lane’s sociopathic storage container. Putting Lane in a room of committed 5 stars and their mothers is like leaving a raccoon in a room with a dozen open peanut butter jars.

How many more stories will the crazies write about this? It’s the kid’s father, and he is a new OC, wtf? This is the 3rd story I have seen on this, plus listened to two shows on satellite radio covering it yesterday. CFB season starts in two days, there are many more significant issues to discuss, and yet this headlines the writers, talking heads, and bloggers stories. Disconnect, imo.

If the Laner weren’t such an attention whore, it wouldn’t be a story.

Junior is a lightening rod for sure but, these days, there is no way someone wasn’t going to go ballistic with any item mentioning Briles, however trivial the contact. So, “pretend like your Dad is dead, kid”? They do realize a girl died because of how ND handled a sexual assault case don’tr they? They don’t flare up every time ND or State Penn comes up.
