44.5

How many of y’all picked Georgia to cover that enormous spread in the Fabris Pool?

I have a hard time getting there, unless the Dawgs are something like +4 in turnover margin, mainly because I expect to see the bench emptied in the second half and Prather Hudson’s name called often in the fourth quarter.

Main thing I’m curious about today is seeing who gets the starting nod opposite Baker — Campbell or Stokes.

Main thing I’m hoping for is good health.

There really isn’t much else to add, I’m afraid.  It’s an über-cupcake game.

I’m heading up to the Classic City in a few.  Your thoughts are welcomed in the comments section, as always.

I agree, Kirby has no intention of leaving starters in 3 quart and since umass qb can sling it, they prolly score 2 tds in last 10 min of game against the 3rd stringers get it over quick w/ no injuries so we can get back to Bama practice.

Man, you hung up on #3.
Is there really a question as to who should start?
#27 earned it from Columbia, MO onward.

I would never pick against UGA. Make them -144.5 and I will still take my team.. If I were in Vegas I would skip this game, but never pick against the DAWGS

Is Bama getting worse as the season goes on?

10-10 at the half with the Citadel.

Second drive took way too long to score.

    Pathetic.

Special teams gaffs. Weak run defense.

    Pitiful.

We got a ballgame. So much for the starters getting out early.

We’re not very stout on the D line and that’s obvious. Any team can get push against us. It will improve for next year. We’re too talented for that to affect our chances today.

    Mid thought… Touchdown!! Simmons!!

Good lord the arm on Fields. That throw to Mecole was insane.

Proud of this offensive performance today. Defensively… Let’s just say GT is going to expose and Tua is going to break completion records. I hate to say that, but dang we are weak against a good run game and poor against a patient passer. As always, here’s to being wrong!! Go Dawgs!!!

Their receiver has had a career game. Embarrassing.

Our defense has been a fucking joke in this game.

  18. Is there any reasonable explanation for why our defense is complete shit this game?

Maybe a cupcake would be an opportunity for some people to learn what a SACK is who haven’t experienced them all year?

Because they probably worked on defending the triple option all week.

There is no explanation. God help us against Bama’s receivers. And against tech.

Yea we should just concede now since we have no chance. We are the worst 10-1 team in the history of the world.

Damn, are in-game commenters always this miserable and whiny? I’m glad our players don’t fold like some of our fans do. We played a TON of freshmen. And you know, all mighty Bama was tied with the Citadel for most of a half.

Actually, this is very, very tame to the norm; generally another 60 comments longer for wins and even more for losses. I don’t read during the game, but can’t wait to read afterwards to see how many wet themselves, repeatedly, only to be proven dead wrong within a few plays. Honestly don’t know why people do this during games but appreciate the post-mortem laughs.

My experience is the doom and gloomers (like Bo) always outnumber the hyperbole kings (TN Dawg) both both claim the powers of ESP and have been predicting the events unfolding on TV. These are even worse on the message boards of all fanbases, not limited to UGA.

Meant that many of both types of commenters claim to have foreseen what is occurring, not just the two examples named. It isn’t limited to a couple of people, especially when things look dark.

Can someone explain to me why Clemson is wearing blue instead of purple? I mean that crap is ugly, but that’s your color, so you oughta wear it, amiright?

The blue looks awful too, frankly. Boise State Tigers.

    • Same reason why we have Bulldog Bold font and can’t get true Silver Britches – crappy ass Nike.

    • It’s the same reason that royalty assumed purple as their representative hue. The means to produce the color “purple” in olden days was extremely limited (the only source was some obscure snail living in the Mediterranean). Probably that lake next to Clemmons has a limited supply of the needed mollusks.
