It’s almost comical the way Johnny Cougar (Mellencamp) wants to be James Brown. Even the hair and the way he holds the mic.

Same could be said for Talking Heads (entire Stop Making Sense stage setup stolen from Brown), Michael Jackson, Prince, etc.
He’s the most important musician in US history.
