Didn’t expect to see a list looking like this:
Seven of nine names there are from Georgia and Kentucky. Looks like the ‘Cats might have a stout o-line this season.
And nobody from ‘Bama. What’s going on?

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
UK is grading high due to the ratio of run to pass.

I would love to see what Kindley graded out at last year and then hear an explanation for why Salyer did get more reps.

Don’t worry about Bama. They will be just fine.

Persistence pays off. Kentucky showing patience with Stoops’ rebuild started paying off when UK played us for the East title. The kids are seeing an uptick in UK’s quality and he’s slowly but surely making the Cats a contender. Kirby’s process has insured that we will always have quality players waiting to step up and contribute. Bama’s no-show on that list validates that recruits are seeing a changing of the guard and that Bama is yesterday’s newspaper and don’t want to hitch their wagon to a dynasty nearing the end of its’ run. They see us, Clemson, LSU & a few others as the rising stars and want to be part of that. Kirby has brought the process into the 21st century and Bama is falling behind.

Not so sure about Bama falling behind. They are still recruiting at a very high level. LSU pushed Bama off the stool but they had several things go their way including a once in a blue moon QB.

I’m not ready to call LSU a dynasty yet either.

Recruiting at a high overall level for sure. But evaluations/development and health of individual players can hide shortfalls in those rankings. UGA has enjoyed some high team rankings that did not account for some OL deficiencies, DB misses.

I can’t wait to see that UK line travel to the swamp again

I was thinking that UK will have a solid running game this season. Georgia’s defense is gonna be stout, so it should be fun to watch from that aspect. It is way deep in the season though, who knows what we’ll be looking at by then.

Maybe next year’s contest will be drier too

Are we sure that Cleveland is going to make it back?
Secondly aren’t those grades kinda low? The guys that left graded in the mid 90’s right?

What was Cade Mays’ grade?

You can have the top-ranked line and still struggle when your offense becomes predictable.

Richt was right. This season settled it for me. I’d rather return skill position players than OLS. Just need linemen who can get in the way of the other guy for a few seconds while the skill guys do their thing.

Slayer will prove himself this year. He will be no less than a 2nd round draft choice when it’s time.

Hmmmm. So that’s where your true loyalties lie. You’re a Tide pod eating, sister fucker. Got it.

I wonder if the numbers reflect the fact that they played mostly against SEC East defenses. Only one lineman from the West.

I noticed all those Gators on that list #closingthegap
