How the mighty have fallen.

Sure, it’s been a long time since Tennessee football was relevant, but even I was a little surprised by how bad things have gotten in Urnge Country.

No wonder the Vol faithful are so energized by the end of last season and the early recruiting success of this year.  What else have they got to cling to?

The best thing Mark Richt did as our head coach was shut off Fat Phil’s Atlanta Pipeline.

Once he did that, he relegated Fat Phil and that entire, Godforsaken hillbilly, piece of shit program to the dustbin of CFB history.

Which is where he and they belong.

Your hatred of Tennessee and your ability to articulate that hatred is impressive.

I don’t hate them. I’m just accurately describing them. I’m more annoyed by them and their especially arrogant without earning it fugly orange-wearing hillbilly loser inbred fanbase.

My hatred belongs to Florida, Auburn, and the NATS alone.

When Larry said “We just crushed their face!” little did we know it was the turning point for UT. Mark Richt crushed Tennessee – granted he lost some awful awful games against them (2007) – but he turned that entire series to our favor and Kirby is riding it hard.

They’re just South Carolina with some history.

Not keeping Coleman, Lewis and Grant in Georgia that year really hurt UGA.

(GETTING Kevin Ramsey may have been worse!)

  3. Another reason why it was a no-brainer for Pittman to jump at the Arkansas job. No way to go but up, right?

Well, that Hail Mary in 2016, apparently; that, and “1980!”

And another reason to hate ESPN. They did a rewind of that 2016 game with the hillbillies and not only had Josh Dobbs on but also called it the “Dobbs-nail boot game”! Ripping off classic Munson is not appropriate..

Not only is it not appropriate, it’s fucking lazy, and worst of all, it makes no fucking sense.

There is no such a thing as a hobnail boot. I’ll give you a million dollars if you could produce a dobbnail boot.

Meh. That would bother me a lot less if Tennessee had managed to score more than four touchdowns against Georgia in the three years since. Georgia has outscored the Vols 122-26 in that time, and we’ve taken the all-time lead in the series at 24-23-2 wiping out the futility of the 90’s.

They can sing their little hillbilly song as much as they want to as far as I’m concerned.

Since the 0-9 of 1989-99 I think we’re 14-6 in the last twenty years, +8.

So we gotta beat them one more time to fully repay the nine, and then initiate a long, bloody campaign of penalties and interest, until no living memory of the nineties remains and all their descendants can recall is decade after decade of brutal suffering, their cries for mercy unheeded, their prayers for sweet death unheard.

Then we trade them to the ACC for Clemson and some practice equipment.

UGA is responsible for 5 of uf’s 23 losses (22%), 7 of auburn’s 31 losses(23%) and 6 of ut’s losses in the 8 yr period. Damn you 2015 and 2016. Also UGA now owns the series lead on ut after last years win.

  9. Man, Arkansas.”Booooooooooo” Pig Sooey. 39% of their 13 wins came in one season (2015 – 5 wins) alone too. Ouch. I feel for Sam. Good luck, my man.

We normally think of Vandy being the doormat of the East, but the reality is that there are 3 door mats.

Welp, in the last 10 years they have two SEC Titles, a National Title, and played for a second one.

We have one SEC Title, no National Titles, and one appearance.

Maybe before we make fun of them, we look at ourselves.

  13. What’s sad about this is the number of conference championships we have. That’s all I see. Our ability to step on our d*** is quite amazing.
