ESPN's @ESPN_BillC: "Georgia's defense is probably the most proven unit on any side of the ball in college football this year, but you still have to score.”

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
I don’t want to be all skepticdawg, but I have reservations about a unit that did well against backups, freshman and a wide receiver at QB. We also have a history of shitting the bed with our prior year proven commodities.

I have the same concern. Additionally, I fear that our offense will take a while to get going due to so many new parts and pieces, if it gets going at all this season. If that happens, our highly touted defense will be on the field a ton this year.

So true! I hate to even brag on the D right now. How many times have the areas of concern pleasantly surprised while the touted areas disappointed?

“If they never score, we’ll never lose”…”If you don’t have the best of everything, make the best of everything you have”…which means CKS will lean on his defense in this 10 game schedule and then some…

Nice, but would be more believable if it wasn’t Penis Head repeating Connelly’s claim.

Well, we could win 2-0. Who needs an offense?

Our offense was miserable last year and eight players made an NFL team. While I’ll take talent over experience any day, I am more uncomfortable with our offense then comfortable with our defense. It is highly unlikely we are firing on all cylinders coming out of the gate and our season is very front-end loaded.

Good to hear from the Doom and Gloom crowd. I’m just glad we are going to see the Dawgs play. Like Kirby says everybody has the same problems so it’s pretty even. Monkin offense is not too hard. He said that he just has to find a QB that is accurate. Now we will see who won on the basis of this. After all thei is the OC that made the Tampa Bay offense dynamite in one season.
