Striking omission here.
And, no, he doesn’t follow up with similar congratulations for the Tech salute. Well played, Governor.
Striking omission here.
Georgia is proud to have great leaders on the gridiron, and we're glad @CoachPCJ is getting the recognition he deserves this year from the @cfbhall.
Congratulations, Coach. All of Eagle Nation and our fellow Georgians are proud of you! https://t.co/kVG2yyKLJ2

And, no, he doesn’t follow up with similar congratulations for the Tech salute. Well played, Governor.

We run this State and this Nation. Got no time for tech and appreciate the Goobernor dissing them. Piss on Johnson and G Southern too.

Never voted for Kemp and never will, but regardless of your political affiliation, that’s fuckin’ funny.

I am with you but Kemp and I are soul mates when it comes to loving and supporting the University of Georgia. As long as we didn’t talk politics or policy we would have a great time together at a tailgate. I bet he would have excellent Georgia craft beer and liquor as well

“Never voted for Kemp and never will” damn, Gillett I thought politics was off limits here.
Please understand that “Tank” Abrams would have never written anything this funny, subtle or entertaining. She would have warned CPJ about toxic masculinity and then gradulated Coach Paul Johnson for starting unisex bathrooms at Georgia Tech…. and their liberal use of flag boys at half time…..not that there is anything wrong with that.

Shit, row105, Doug’s post in no way challenged the wisdom of ANYONE ‘S vote for Kemp. Instead, he, and I, said that Kemp’s politics and policies have nothing to do with appreciation for Kemp’s tweet. If he had written, “Democrats and Republicans can agree it was fuckin funny ” you would call that “off limits?” Same thing. The point Doug and I were making is that our support for Georgia is fucking unifying. Taking the time to conjecture about any other politician, while using a unflattering term, has NOTHING to do whether Kemp did well and is the opposite of unifying.

No guys your missing my point….., Doug, just clearly confused me with someone who gives a fuck who he did,did not or never will vote for. Just appreciate the humor…or don’t ….keep your voting habits to yourself or at least off this blog.Finis.

You demonstrated the inappropriateness of Doug expressing on this board who hd didn’t vote for by expressing who you didn’t vote for. You made the point you say you were making in your first sentence, and could have stopped there but you mistook the readers for someone who gives a fuck about your view of Stacy Abrams.
Again, a post that says I didn’t vote for Kemp but I loved what he did is a more meaningful compliment to Kemp than “I voted for Kemp and love everything he does as a result. “

Maybe I’m missing something here, but you appear to be indulging in exactly what you’re complaining about. What exactly does Abrams or unisex bathrooms have to do with the point of the post?

I would love for him to wax eloquently about coaching The Naval Academy, talk about his success at GSU, and oh yeh, I spent some time in Atlanta.

FWIW, everyone knows he didn’t get in the hall for anything he did with tech…

In fairness Johnson’s election is mostly due to his time at Navy.

That’s easy for you to say being as you dined at those wonderful Naval mess halls as a gentleman. It strikes too close to home for me being I mostly et in yankee Army chow halls and at the back of the line.

I loved the one response from the Bug that Kemp left out the school where he had his biggest accomplishments.
And I’m like, no, Kemp mentioned Georgia Southern where Fish Fry won back-to-back National Championships in 1999 and 2000.
Bugs are so dumb. It’s their tiny bug brains!

I also loved the one that said that he left out the one Georgia academic institution that keeps the rest of the university system from being worse academically than Mississippi. Tech’s 1950s era meme lives forever.

To be fair to the governor, nothing that Paul Johnson did at Georgia Tech was a factor in his induction.
