And Mack Brown irately complaining about this call goes down in the Annals of Chutzpah.
It’s pretty pathetic that the only thing guaranteed to come out of that mess is that Paul Rhoads will be reprimanded by the conference. Can’t hurt those officials’ fee-fees.
If anything should get a player ejected it’s crap like this. That was an intentional cheap shot. The player may not have been “defenseless” but it was obvious he was out of the play. At the very least this kid should be suspended by the coaching staff.

Didn’t watch the game, but I would love to hear the audio so I’d know what argument Mack was attempting to use to with the official.

The only thing that would be a bigger travesty that the non-fumble last night is Davis not getting a suspension for that gutless crap.

The officials gave that game to Texas. They made numerous bad or just plain horrible calls that kept their game winning drive alive.

Paul Rhoads got hosed the same way Bobby Collins at Vanderbilt used to get hosed.

Its amazing how bad Texas is given the resources they have plus no current sanctions. Makes me appreciate the outstanding job Richt did in stopping our slide and turning us around.
Oh and that was obviously a fumble and ISU obviously got screwed. Funny, as I’m reading Rhoades could be the next Texas coach.

Going for the knees in that manner and circumstance is as bad as a head shot. Looks like CPJ making a demonstation film.
