You know what they say about punters…

If you have two punters, it means you don’t have any.

So they’re fine with using two punters, but won’t consider using a different kicker on kickoffs? My head hurts…

Nothing wrong with Barber’s punting, although I have nothing against Erickson punting if he’s the better or healthier of the two. As other commenters have pointed out, the punt formation has about a 4 yard gap between center and guard. Opponents have seen that flaw and are flooding that gap, as any capable coach would and should do. Better coaching on our part, in the form of recognizing a flaw and changing it, would fix the problem in an instant.

As has been pointed out, Barber is a little too deliberate in getting off his punts which has contributed to the blocks.

Take a stopwatch, and whichever guy puts a toe on the football the quickest gets the job. It’s that simple. I don’t care how far the ball travels. Our defense has shown that it can give up an 30 yard touchdown drive just as easily as they can an 80 yard touchdown drive.

The punter Georgia chooses will key the opponent to go for the block TD or the return TD.

North Gwinnett runs a punt formation with two punters. One is left-footed and the other is right-footed. The guy that doesn’t punt peels off and blocks backside.
