The course of true urnge never did run smooth.

I’m not sure what it is about Tennessee football and gettin’ hitched, but here’s another woman who’s going to have to spend the rest of her life explaining to people what in the hell she was thinking about her wedding.

True romance, babe.

I see a lot of empty seats so they did a thorough reenactment.

Actually they did a great job with it. Best wishes except on Fall Saturdays.

Lived among them for twelve years and I can tell you this is not a surprise at all. There are some pretty classy, knowledgeable fans at the top but for the vast majority they see nothing as “off limits” when it comes to displaying the big urnge….nothing. For the most part some pretty good folks but very one dimensional when it comes to CFB. I have never seen anything like them, you can go to someone’s house for a football party and for the most part, both the men and women would only watch the TN game, not the one before it, not the one after it (same in some of the “sports bars”). And you just think UGA fans whine about officials and being slighted by any commentator’s remarks, they are extreme. Has been very nice seeing them have this downturn, they are a cocky group and needed a little humble pie.

In my experience, that goes for most SEC fans. Overall, the more their team wins, the more obnoxious they are, and vise-versa. Even our own fan base can make you cringe at times…some of the most obnoxious behavior I’ve seen just happened to be wearing red and black. The worst is when some of our so-called fans will go up to a stranger wearing colors of another team after a win and start barking in their face. To them its simply innocent, good-natured ribbing.

And I totally agree that every fan base has very obnoxious fans that embarrass others, my point is that with TN, it may be the majority that acts that way. I think TN and FU have the largest contingent on a percentage basis but feel SC and Bama is beginning to challenge. At the very top, Bama fans are excellent but their recent success has swelled the ranks of band wagon fans who are very bad. Like you, I hate to see our R&B clad fans barking, or harassing, other teams’ fans, especially around Sanford. Rivalry doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with other fans, in fact, just the opposite.

My primary point though was the uniqueness with Vol fans and their myopic, one team approach. With most SEC fans you have a conversation about other teams and find they stay pretty current, not so much with the orange clad group (and again, FU is the primary challenger.) Even Auburn fans can discuss returning players, recruiting, etc. about other SEC, and some national teams. I didn’t find much of that in Ten-R-See.

They even had the wedding invitations printed up to look like tickets.

That is a pretty epic move.

Pretty sweet setup. Love the American flag in the corner.

Align the chairs correctly and they can run through the “T” in front of the coon dog and the shotgun.

Her name is her nemisis. An arrest that otherwise would get no attention, . gets her pic and story in the paper because she’s PM. The dude who was arrested with her is not pictured althouth he is facing the same penalties.
