“And Georgia fans, don’t be turds. Enjoy this. Soak it up. It’s awesome. If you don’t win this year, it’s still not a failure. It’s a heck of a run. Back-to-back in the Playoff era hasn’t been done. So, to ask for a third I feel like it’s gluttonous. I feel like it’s not OK. But we’ll be in the mix.”-- David Pollack, On3.com, 5/9/23
As we all know, “Rednecks turn orange in the fall”.

I don’t know why people insist on having fall weddings when there are 9 other perfectly good months of the year to have them. I had to watch UGA/Tenn from my freakin’ cell phone.

Seriously. Or what is wrong with getting married on a Sunday afternoon, or even a Friday night. If you are weird and can only get married on a Saturday, do a damn breakfast wedding (probably the best chance to get decent food), then have the party begin with the early kickoff games. Folks are just too limited in their thinking on this and……and not getting control of Fall Saturdays early on sets you up for unhappiness/divorce in future years.

And if you were married at a Tenn game this year, you had better consummate the marriage before the game because you probably didn’t get to the after in an orange-glo mood.

“Consummating with orange”, ugh! With apologies to the UT Hostess group, that just sounds so nasty that even the blue famous blue pills would not overcome my lack of turned-offedness. (Is that a word? I know it is a condition but not sure it would pass in a game of Scrabble.)

The Bride and I got married on an off week 24 years ago….now we occasionally spend an anniversary at a road game for the weekend, good times all around.

Agree 100%. Just don’t understand it at all.

Did she have to sit at home after the wedding like the Vols did?

I’ve never seen a pair of first cousins look so happy. I guess the benefit of a Vol fan wedding is that there’s really only one side of the family to invite.

No, I spend time in those hills with folks that are alumni. We play games now and then.. There’s a cabin on Honey Farm where me and two other Honey Bees spend time. Going to bring in the New Year there with my Mountain Cousins.
