007 takes it to the limit one more time with perhaps a Level II or Level III lack of institutional control violation? Losing 8, Top Gun and The Joker. He’s doing such a good job that his handlers need to dial him back a little bit because once their Jeremy finds out when and if the enemy ever gets ahead of us we’ll be subject to a full exhaustion of gator timeouts.

FSU has a pretty ridiculous non-conference schedule this year. Oklahoma State, UF, and Notre Dame are 3 of their 4 non-conf games (Notre Dame games do not count as conference games despite their arrangement with the ACC). Individually, none of those 3 are that imposing, but collectively that’s a pretty brutal non conference schedule.

That is impressive, FSU fans are excited about it and their chances so it is setting up as an enviable CFB season for them. FSU is loaded across the board despite losing talent to the NFL the past two years. Barring a catastrophic, UGA-like run of injuries I see them as a lock for the 4 team playoff. I am especially excited about the opener against Ok State which follows the UGA/Clemson game.

Biggest true road game is at Miami, which will be 1/3 to 1/2 FSU fans.
Win the ACC and they are in the playoff.

Would FSU be playing Notre Dame if not for their affiliation with the ACC? I guess I’m asking if FSU independently scheduled Notre Dame.

Sure hope our DL is much better than 9th in the League. It could be a long year if we’re not better than that. IDK how good of a coach Tracy Rocker is, but if Chris Wilson were still coaching, I’d say we’ll be better than that for sure.

Did not read Steele’s reasons. But I would say Dawgs are middle of the pack due to loss of experienced players in secondary, inexperienced QB, several key players coming back from injuries that could re-occur, and an idealistic head coach. Then throw in UK beat writer’s comments on transfers from secondary and Pruitt inheriting an FSU defense that has a history of being good and tough.
But I’ll give Pruitt credit for FSU’s national championship. He begin to shut down Auburn’s spread to give the seafood QB a chance to get his game rather than his diet a go.
Mark Richt. Some are beginning to think he can not manage a roster or get UGA another title. Does not matter the reasons, but a program can not have the player issues and transfers UGA has had. The question for most writers is how many will go before the beginning of fall practice in about 45 days.
The best thing that could have happened for Josh-Harvey and Matthews is if both showed up at Auburn. Just keep it close to the closing minutes and threw up a desperation throw. Chances of completion and TD, well based on the last time we looked it looked good.

Middle of what pack? Middle nationally? Middle of the SEC? Middle of the Top 15? 25? Or middle of the 4 team playoff? I don’t think we have a championship team either, but if you define “middle” as about 64th best of the 128 teams I would say you are negative to the extreme. But then, that fits your anti-Richt drivel. Honestly, with the questions we have, the schedule challenges,, etc., I think we are 8-4 at worst, 11-1 would be the absolute top, and we end up somewhere in between. I don’t think 9-3 or 10-2 is close to being average, that is reserved for 7-5 or 6-6 bowl teams.
