“I always let the coordinators be where they want to be,” Saban said.

Except in the case of Junior.

Gee, I wonder why.

How long until we see the Alabama papers start quoting an anonymous source close to the program?

Didn’t know Willie Lakatos was coaching A&M’s secondary.

  5. I’m not sure how much of a story this is. There’s a good chance he’ll have to settle the two quarterbacks down.

On another note…this Aggies offense looks pretty good. Dang it.

Or the USC defense sucks without Clowney, and they can’t run the ball without Lattimore.

No one mentions it but I think the loss of Kelsy Quarles had a big impact as well. He and Clowney were the bookends and it proving tough to replace both at the same time. That’s why they felt they had to go to a 3-4. But they don’t have the personnel. They just could not get pressure and the were lost on slant routes…which they should have been better at with 4 LBs.

Well, considering Kiffin recently moved from Hermosa Beach to the godforsaken landscape of west central Alabama, I’d probably want him to be as low in elevation as possible too to keep him from getting utterly depressed.

    Smart move.

Am thinking Lane does not exactly cotton to the South.
Travel agent should book him in places other than Knoxvegas and T-Town.
Expect he’ll be named as head coach of Cowboys next season.
