My completely uninformed gut feeling is this: Grantham thinks Bobo is an unqualified hack that got where is his because of who he married and being a kiss ass to Richt. Bobo thinks Grantham is a know-it-all buffoon that is all sizzle and no steak that made his bones because the scheduling gods smiled on UGA in 2011. Coincidentally, their feels about each other may or may not mirror my own. Should be fun…

Dear, dear Otto…surely you’re smarter than this. You do realize that nearly every team and America (and the SEC) actually played an easier schedule than us. You do realize that Miss. St. played four cupcakes while we played two, right?
Our offense has been a scoring machine, especially in 2014. What Bobo has done has simply been remarkable, especially in light of the losses we experienced to injury and suspension the last two years. Is UGA the only team that scores a garbage time TD or plays a cupcake? The truth is that Richt decidedly does NOT tack on extra points in blowouts when we surely could (see Arky and Mizzou) and we play less cupcakes that most. We score a bunch of points. We’re good at offense. Really, really, really, really good at offense.

They led the SEC in scoring in the conference games too. 38.8 PPG. AU was 2nd at 34.4

In SEC play UGA had 16 to Auburn’s 14. UGA had 2 more but played in the SEC East that also lost to their ACC state rivals.

Auburn had 4 TDs against the #1 points against defense in the country.

And how many did they have in Athens? You saw these two offenses in person, right? And Auburn looked better?

Auburn had a game where they flat out didn’t show up, the 1st under Malzahn. The same thing is at minimum an annual happening under the current staff in Athens.

I just wish someone would start leaking some dirt. I’m 100% convinced the 2013 defense was culturally far worse than we still even know, and I suspect it grew because of Grantham’s attitude/leadership style.
I also believe that there was serious dislike between the offensive and defensive coaches last year.
