Mike Slive on freshman ineligibility

It sounds like Jim Delany’s got some convincing to do.

Hard to argue with any of that.  But if the Big Ten thinks it knows best, I’m sure Slive won’t object to that conference going its own way on the matter.

The NCAA won’t do it if the SEC doesn’t want it. Keep on talking Delaney and Big-10 ADs–you’ll kill the Big-10 2016 recruiting class for sure.

I would imagine that this is going to push Corch into a medical issue and some family time.

Sometimes I think we’re being too hard on our past and present enemy corches but that’s a good thing

  4. I would appreciate it Senator, if you would not mess with my personal version of reality. In the world of lowest common denominators Commissioner Slive is easily classified as an arrogant prick and I was happy with that easy pigeon holing. Than you post him taking, what by all appearances is a highly rational and defensible position on this subject and I have to rethink the pigeon hole he fits in . Actually, I’m not prepared to reorder my universe at this point so with this little data I’m filing this under my ‘,even a broken clock is right twice a day” category, and still assume he is not a nice man. He has to have multiple lucid intervals before he is out of my doghouse.
