Well it’s good to know that there’s someone out there as full of shit as our AD.

“I guess I have to say, I’m not gonna be Alabama’s coach.”

    Nick Saban

I’m sure that he knows nothing about Kirby’s plans. Nothing. Just like he said.

I’m really starting to get it when Nick does this stuff. Mainstream sports journalism is a sham of a profession. Not because of what it is, but because of who ends up occupying it. Mark Bradley and Jeff Schultz would fail immediately if they had to compete with the quality of independent sports blogs these days.

Keep doing what you do, senator.

Nick would fully agree with Richt’s infamous “in the arena” comment as it was originnaly intended: about asinine questions and observations from journalists.

    • Saban nailed it. Journos invent stories with speculation and then expect the real players to comment on it – BEFORE anything happens. Absurd.

Journalism in general is a joke nowadays.

Widely reported Richt has been hired by Miami.
Will impact recruiting for UF and FSU.
Makes yiu wonder what is going on with Smart.
Reports out of some people in Bama is the culture in B-M. Concerned about how Pruitt was treated by certain insiders and boosters.

    • I don’t know anything about boosters or insiders, but hearing Fran Tarkington say that Pruitt “Isn’t going to be Georgia’s or anyone else’s head coach” a few weeks ago on the radio tells us a little bit about how some with influence are handling themselves.

Possible Richt could coach against Dawgs in bowl.
B-M brain trust had better get their act together and get their sorry dilly dally butts going

Great. Now Andy Schlabach can cite a f***ing Coke bottle as a “source close to the program”.

    Coke is the real deal.
Richt has a new deal. He never even signed a contract with GM. Already under contract with the “U”.
In essence UGA football is a roster now with no management.
GM asks Saban for the bottle. He needs some guidance and direction.
The Dawgs wonder where their coach is?
Clue. Saban has him the bottle and the top has not come off
Either GM can not negogiate a deal or he is afraid to cross Saban.

UGA needs an AD who can help get a football program jump started.
As each hour passes look s more and more like UGA needs a serious AD.
One who can hire a coach.

  14. I have to say……… I LOVE THIS. I LOVE ALL OF THIS.

    1) I am so happy CMR landed a great job so fast. Super happy for him. He’s used to having to coach with crap support and scraps for money, so Miami will be no problemo.

    2) The ACC is so much better for CMR. It suits his personality and level of tenacity.

    3) CMR is a great recruiter. Him being at Miami is going to hurt Florida. That is most definitely a couple of recruits per year that Florida loses. Being way down in Miami, I actually don’t think he’ll hurt Georgia’s recruiting all that much.

    4) CMR still gets to bitch slap Tech every year. Hahahahahahahahahahaha.

    5) McGarity has massive egg on his face. Hahahahahahahaha.

    6) If CMR wins a national title with Miami…… holy shit……… hahahaha…. BM will have to be CLEANED OUT. The inbred cronies in that place will finally have to go. That would be spectacular!

    7) If Eason goes to Miami, so what? The kid likes CMR. Why shouldn’t he get to go play for him? One of the most bullshit rules in the NCAA is that a coach can change schools, quit, get fired, go the NFL, whatever and the kids who wanted to play for him have to sit out a year if they want to follow or go elsewhere. Thank god this happened before Eason officially signed with Georgia. If Eason signs with UGA, that’s wonderful, but don’t expect a kid to make choices BAD FOR HIM just because you want him to win games for your (and my) favorite team.

    8) If something blows up and we lose Smart………….. hahahahahahaha even more awesome because then McGarity pretty much needs to be fired ON THE SPOT for incompetence. Another huge win. Then maybe we can go get Gary Patterson or some other superior hire anyway.

I love everything about this. This is WIN-WIN in the extreme.

This season of college football sucked hugely right up until this week!

More difference between The Process and The Georgia Way. UA budgets for more bottles to free up coaches from wasting time at press conferences!

The commander of the Death Star is highly entertaining. Albeit with a markedly different personality bent, he is emerging as my favorite to replace the HBC as the most interesting man in the SEC to listen to. Except for Les. Who is the world champ in goofiness and other quirks.
