Here in Georgia, we celebrate every September game that’s not played under a noonday sun. Meanwhile, across the country, folks in Washington are unhappy their Huskies are playing so many night games now. Go figure.
There is one thing in common we both share. You only get one guess about that.

People on the West Coast are good folk, just very different.

Not really. They have amazing weather, beautiful geography, world class wine, lower population density, and they start each day 3 hours after the east coast does. Their political affiliation has nothing to do with any of those factors.
Like I said, it’s just different. Not better or worse, just different.

Very true, just different. Lived in Puget Sound area and Oregon for 40 years. Do miss it and will be headed back. The scenery can not be beat, but do admit winter sucks.
As for politics, nothing can top Alabama for strange(no pun intended).

I think the West Coast teams get more exposure with night games. How many PAC12 games would you watch if the games were between noon and 7 PM against SEC games, or even other powers located nearer us? I watch the PAC12 late game (s) every week, but haven’t seen a one of Saturday before 10 PM. But yeah, screw the WWL.

Yeah. Screw the WWL. Was so much better when we only got to see 2-3 games on Saturday and no football the rest of the week.

You aren’t very deep are you? Like many others here, I only watch the network for live college football, and the very rare days they cover early rounds of golf majors. And while I don’t know about your channel line-up but mine includes a couple of dozen other channels that carry CFB that could absorb their capacity to carry games with ease. And they might do it without trying to influence/control CFB. They had their day early on but have lost their way in recent years, and over stepped quite a few lines. But you keep bowing to Bristol every day and swallowing their crud, they love sheep like you.

Oh yeah, day games in Seattle or Eugene or Pullman in September are great. Athens in September day not so much. Night games in PNW anytime are cold.

Boating to the game is a big deal there. Not so much at night when it’s cold.
