“Cannon shot” go Boom!

For the sheer entertainment value of reality leaving it in the cold, cold dust, I could keep re-posting this quote weekly.

UGA’s staff knows that the talent margin is closing, that we are no longer a team with a couple of nice pieces – that we are getting deep. Sandridge was a cannon shot. A championship playoff run, at a position of need, and we still get the commitment – regardless of what is being written about currently (and make no mistake, it isn’t a coincidence).

It has been a long time since we’ve been this deep. On the staff and on the roster. It’s the middle of July and we are all in the same range of commitments and we are ahead of them. Pressure is all on them.

I could be wrong, but it appears that Georgia’s staff is handling the pressure rather well.

Please do post it weekly, or at least, fortnightly.

#2 DT/DE Travon Walker is also announcing tomorrow evening. For a while, uSCjr thought they were going to pull him out of Georgia. As of now, most think Georgia, which will make that post/column look even dumber.

Of course, if he does surprise and go with the Gamecocks, it will make me look even dumber, but that’s life.

  3. That post is aging as well as the 2017 vintage of MD 20/20.

So great considering we turned Sandridge down on signing day.

Don’t we have like 17-18 Five star guys on roster and another 4-5 committed already? Sakaralina has what…3 total?
    I’m literally guessing

I guess Boom thinks that 5 x 3 star =3 x 5 star. Someone needs to remind him that recruiting math and regular math are not the same

All this idiotic ranting from the chickens has had me think I g something that should have occurred to me way before now. SC is the Tech of the SEC. Delusional fans who are obsessed with us and furious that week t really care about them except for the week therapist them. Both are programs with history that is of little note. One has a delusional fan message board called Sting Talk where they gather to share their misery. One has Cocky Talk…

NEVER; NEVER have I seen a more delusional fan base that includes the mods and writers for media sites that cover them. I mean they are slap insane. I saw one post where a fan had pretty much stated they were better a every position than us. RB, WR, TE, OL and QB. I mean they do know they graduated 3 from a OL that was putrid. They do know that Hurst a first round NFL pick graduated?

I guess not. De-nile isn’t just a river in Egypt.

The funniest part about that quote is that he misspelled Sandidge’s name.
