“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Herbstreit assures everyone on Twitter that Alabama “will score at will” against everyone they play.

They will certainly score, as will we. Their OL looks more porous than I can recall though. If we light a fire under our defensive group, it looks like we can disrupt them a little more this year. Two teams that will likely meet again this season.

Sorry non-Dawg request, but I’m heading to Dallas on Thursday. Need brisket recommendations, please!

Not brisket rec but the original Del Frisco’s is in north Dallas. Best (very limited) steakhouse chain around, imo. Outstanding steaks, sides, wine, booze around, and always with top service. Just wish they had more locations, but quantity was never their goal.

Like this article states, DFW is not really about bbq. https://www.dmagazine.com/publications/d-magazine/2010/february/the-best-barbecue-in-dallas/
If it’s a quick trip, just hit a Rudy’s and go for the extra moist. Do NOT go to Dickie’s. Maybe consider TexMex or a top steakhouse for Dallas and head south some other time for the Q.
