Best consolation prize ever

Rejoice, South Carolina.  Maybe your quarterbacks aren’t going to join the Heisman conversation any time soon, but at least your “quarterback succession plan” is one of the best in the country.

Of course there’s that Mike Tyson line about plans and getting hit in the mouth, but we’ll leave that for another day, Columbia.

“Quarterback Succession Plan” is a thing?

When QBRs and Havoc Rates fail, QSPs are here to save the day…

…until the transfer portal blows it up.

WHO WILL SIT ON THE PORCELAIN THRONE OF COLUMBIA? Watch several seasons of Game of Clones to learn who prevails in the strategy filled battle to determine who leads South Carolina to a succession of 3rd place finishes in the SEC east!

Watch out, Chikins. NOVEMBER IS COMING!

Is this the 2020 seasons happy talk after looking at this years schedule?

Our QSP looked pretty damned impressive too what with signing Eason/Fromm/Fields back-to-back-to-back. How is that “plan” working now? Problem with plans is they are always built on shifting sands; it is much worse now with the porta-john thingy exploding all around every team.

Auburn always insists that their next quarterback is going to be a worldbeater, but South Cackalacky is doing them one better by arranging that hype years in advance. Early bird catches the worm, etc.

They’ll manage to cluck it up. I’ll show myself out.

“Clucking it up” Now that is a Chickin thing if there ever was one. Beyond it being clever, every year you get another chance to use it again, albeit for a different reason. Having Boom there to be responsible for clucking it up, makes all the more enjoyable.

With a win it says Bentley will be the 6th QB to have 20 wins as a starter. Not bad for four years in Carolina. Usually takes our guys two years or less.
