Your Daily Gator wants to keep things straight.

This is fine.

According to documents provided to Swamp247 by the University of Florida Police Department via an open records request, Huggins was twice referred to UF’s Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution department for separate incidents that occurred last fall. One reportedly involved Huggins putting his hands around a tutor’s neck.

A UF spokesman told Swamp247 on Monday the team has known about both incidents for a while. Mullen also clarified when asked on Tuesday that Huggins’ current absence is not related to those incidents.

“These are all incident reports that we were aware of last football season,” spokesman Steve McClain said.

Added Mullen:

“No (it’s not related). No, that’s all been handled.”

Hey, I can sympathize.  After the second or third time, it’s got to start blurring together a little if you’re not careful to keep every problem organized.

Don’t mind my friend, ma’am. I just want to braid your hair. Very strange to me, but I admit I’m an old guy.

Before long, Mullen will start claiming memory loss. He was trained by Corch after all.

Mullen was adamant the program has been diligent about educating everyone in the program about how to treat women properly.

“We do a lot. How many of them were actually charged?” Mullen asked.

Yep, that’s right folks. As long as the women don’t press charges it’s all good. Nothing to see here.

They have seen what happens when a woman has someone charged. I can see why they don’t go through with it. It would wreck their lives. Also understand that one of these assaults occured on Huggins girlfriend. That would be the daughter of Derek Mason, yeah that Derek Mason. You can’t make up how weird this shit has gotten with Huggins.

At least Huggins pays attention when Grantham does his choke gesture.

Yeah, where I’m from that’s called choking somebody. It’s nice that she said that she could breathe and speak… if someone has their hands wrapped around your neck, they are choking you. They need to stop wording things the way Florida would like them to be worded just because they’re a Florida fan site. Also, let’s emphasize the “she” part of that, because this dude choked a woman because she was making him go to a tutoring session, and was holding his cell phone as collateral to force him to do so because he was known to skip out otherwise. This is a world class athlete choking a woman.

He’s still on the University of Florida football team, I guess because he didn’t choke her that hard. Go Gators.

I think the initial article has been edited…This little tidbit was in the one I read.https://247sports.com/college/florida/Article/Florida-Gators-Football-John-Huggins-status-remains-unclear-as-previous-incidents-surface-134230662/

“We do a lot. How many of them were actually charged?” Mullen asked. …This guy…tone deaf.

As thin as the TURDs are at DB, yesterdays injury to CJ McWilliams made Huggins misdeeds appear much less severe to Mullen I’m sure. Expect a slap on the wrist or maybe he gets real serious and really sticks it to him by making him sit the 1st quarter of the game against Miami. Another injury in the defensive backfield, and McWilliams may be anointed for sainthood and the victims asked to write apology letters to him. .

Suspect he will have to sit out half of the Miami game, the half when FU’s offense is on the field.

Good god, I’m old. Strangling a tutor is okay? Oh, that’s the STUDENT in student-athlete.

Yeah. I get that there is an amount of grey to domestic violence claims in a relationship, but choking a tutor seems pretty cut and dry.

The Gators will probably suspend him…from tutoring sessions.

I find the charges a little hard to believe. Not that he strangled someone, but that a TURD player was actually meeting with a tutor.

Mullen maintains that they will out-tough everyone this year and It’s clear to me what he meant. They are taking the “t” from tOSU and putting it in front of UF.

Around UGA I think 2 strikes and your out. For this offense anyway. No room for people like that on your team o wait but it’s Florida and Mullen, I forgot

They might want to wrap their remaining secondary unit in bubble wrap and put them under 24 hour surveillance

I get investigations and second chances…when a name continues to show up on the police blotter time and again….there is your RED flag…the lack of action taken by athletic departments world wide for student code of ethics violations (if one exits) does the student athletes more harm than good…until there is something that sticks, FU will have a minimal penalty for this young man…

Has anyone noticed the Washington Nats fans doing the Baby Shark clap look like Gator fans doing the Gator chomp. Hilarious. This year in Jax I hope the Redcoat band cranks out Baby Shark every time they start chomping.
