I’m guessing there won’t be a more insufferable read this year than this soon to be released book about Jim Harbaugh.
“Look,” Dudek says in the book, “we know there are people who don’t operate on the same moral ground that not only Michigan expects, but that coach Harbaugh demands.”
Oy.
Khaki Pants almost makes me want to pull for anOSU the last weekend in November … almost. Now that Corch is temporarily “retired,” Harbaugh is likely the most insufferable @$$ in the sport now.
If he doesn’t beat anOSU this year, Harbaugh will enter 2020 on the hottest seat in the sport.

I think Auburn and Norte Dame still have Michigan beat for sheer pious self-righteousness, but they’re making a strong play.

When is Auburn pious and self-righteous?
I always perceived them as open and notorious without a care in the world that everyone, including themselves, knows they are scum.

Now you’re giving scum a bad name…the barners are the shit (any variety) that gets into the tread on the bottom of your shoe that just won’t go away

Down here in Columbus, they’re self righteous as Jimmy Swaggert. They loudly proclaim their “family” approach to life, and take great offense if anyone suggests Cam was less than truthful about getting paid. They’re the worst kind of insufferable.

Yeah I think any claims of piety or moral superiority in today’s collegiate athletics world ought to be dismissed with eye rolls and chortles.

Moral Grounds – is that located in Georgia or Tennessee?

Note: what it literally says is that Harbaugh demands moral ground — and that there are people who don’t operate on said moral ground. It doesn’t actually say Harbaugh operates on any moral ground.

I liked what Brandon Adams had to say about this today. You don’t get to show up as the new coach at Michigan talking big about how you are going to take the college football world by storm and then start setting up satellite camps in SEC country and turn around and cry about how the SEC plays to rough.

It’s always the guys that chirp the loudest about their virtue who have the biggest secrets to hide. See: Freeze, Hugh. Also: Miss, Ole.

And this my friends is why I always have cheered for Michigan to lose. Unfortunately, the teams I would cheer for against Michigan are also awful these days. I cheered for Michigan State and probably would cheer for Penn State if both schools didn’t have massive abuse scandals tied to their programs, not to mention Ohio State’s issues.

So you’re telling me Michigan doesn’t have bagmen? I’m not buying that for a second. Mark Richt would never cheat, but I’m sure we had bagmen during his time. Same goes for any other coach. Your coaches don’t have to coordinate for your players to be taking money under the table.

Allegedly part of the problem is the bagmen had enough and were freezing Richt out.
