As the man of the night said,
JT Daniels on #UGA's WR corps and going deep to them:
"If you're not going to throw to them, don't recruit them."— Jake Reuse (@ReuseRecruiting) November 22, 2020

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
That comment was classic. He had some dudes at USC of course, but he has to love having this group.

Do players usually address the media? I thought Kirbs has some rule against that.

No, only freshmen aren’t made available. He with Felton pick who get to do press appearances. JT Daniels had some good coaching because he sounded like this:

I thought the exact same thing. And about this same clip from BD. Great movie.

Yesterday we woke up not having a QB who can hit an open receiver, especially the deep ball, but a top defense and manball running game that would get us through a MSU team at 50% strength with only 1 win and a bunch of blowout losses.
This morning if just read that sentence backwards it will make more sense than anything else that try’s to explain last night.

Watch the 15-minute interview with JT Daniels after last night’s game. Very interesting. Clearly not this kids first rodeo.

I watched it too. Really impressed. It was like a pro quarterback stopped by to entertain the press Corp. sharp.

What a classic quote from JT. No reason to recruit blue chip receivers if you want them more for blocking. I’m convinced some of our early departures (like Ridley and Nauta) were because of dissatisfaction with the offense. We have a young and super talented receiving corps. Time to make good use of them.

Nauta was absolutely wasted.

MSU really sold out to make us one-dimensional. I felt like they had a really really good gameplan on both sides is the ball. Leach may have had a lot quit on him but certainly not everyone.
How the hell did we only go to Burton once after his last Td and everyone mentioning UGA single game record?? It almost seemed intentional. Lol! That kid is GOOD and Kirby wasn’t just giving coach speak when he said Burton was working hard to get better. He basically took Robertson’s spot from game 1 and last night we saw why.

If we’ll go with some empty sets or 4-wide with JT, Robertson did some good stuff last night as well.

JT gave kudos post game to Bennett & Beck for support…crickets for “bad attitude” Dwan….HE GONE!

I disagree. JT mentioned all three, Bennett, Beck and Mathis in response to a question about the quarterback room. He also talked about how great the quarterback room was. Dwan was included in JT’s positive comments.
He did specifically mention that he and Bennett have developed a friendship since he arrived on campus.
