Poor ol’ Nick.
Maybe now he knows something about how those fans who sit in 90+ degree heat watching the Tide obliterate some cupcake feel in the fourth quarter when they leave early.
Poor ol’ Nick.
Saban also said he had to take a pregame drive to nowhere to kill the time before kickoff. pic.twitter.com/J2pRqXTnAg

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Now he’ll never retire.

His disdain for anyone not in the arena is palpable.

If he did it right, he would have had a few glasses of whiskey before the game. Then he would understand how regular people handle game jitters.

It would be pretty funny to watch Nick pull a Cowdog. Get about 2/3 hammered before a 7:30 kickoff and spend the evening cussing at the TV.
“Shut up, Gary!”

Sure would. Looks like we “get it”. I have to rewatch our games on Sunday if its a night game, too much fun to yell at the tv.

Neat, love to hear about COVID-positive folks leaving quarantine to drive around aimlessly where they could have car trouble or get pulled over or possibly have an accident, all of which could lead to exposing other people. Maybe just walk around your estate instead, Nick.

I’m pretty sure when he said “driving around”, that was just around his estate. 😉

If people think Saban wasn’t actively controlling that game from home then I have some land ……….

What a dick! How many thousands upon thousands of fellow citizens his age with covid are in bed sick, either home or at the hospital. I speak from first hand experience. Whatever meds and treatment he’s getting isn’t being made available to so many who are genuinely sick and fighting for their lives. A couple miles from here, the funeral for an elementary school nurse who died of covid is today. I’m sure she’ll rest easier knowing saban will get over his anxiety attack soon.
