Shot.
Dan Mullen is already composing the “whatever happened tonight doesn’t take away from what we accomplished this season” speech in his head for the post-game presser.

#Gators coach Dan Mullen: "The last game the 2020 team played was 11 days ago."

My count is three game losing streak.

“We didn’t have to play.”
“I thought our scout team guys played well.”

He’s a pathetic, excuse making, whining phoney.

Lincoln Riley > Todd Grantham.
Who could have predicted that?

Hell, Jeremy Pruitt > Sideshow Dan.
At least Tennessee players play hard.

Do find it exhausting being right all the time, Senator?

All the time? I wish.
Besides, that call was pretty much a layup.

Another reason Georgia needs to take care of business against Cincy… so Mullen and crew take the brunt of the media dumping for the next few months.

It’s hard to see Florida being a serious contender next year. Predicting an offensive rebuild and new defensive coordinator…methinks 2021 is going to be the 2020 version of the 2017 Redemption Tour for our Dawgs.

I’d like to agree, but they’re honestly better than everyone else in the east next year and get their 3 gimmie OOC games vs FAU, USF and Samford. Then there’s FSU. They do have to play Bama again, so there’s that, but that’s basically 9 wins baked in already unless there’s some renaissance at Tennessee or Mizzou gets a lot better.

Next year sets up good for FSU. They got to win one eventually.

Is not the prevailing word that Mullens is the greatest developer of young three stars in the world??? He can’t really be too mad at Grantham because the offense was horrible too. In fact, Grantham can blame Mullens for the offense not supporting the D.

I can’t get enough of the Gators losing.

If Dopey says the 2020 season finished 11 days ago, can we go ahead and say the Handbags are 0-1 in 2021?
We had a ton of guys out last year for Baylor, and Kirby applied a beat down to a team that was 1 win from the playoff and was interested.
I guess that reason 95 that Kirby > Dopey.

“… the 2020 team…”
Hold on, I thought The 2020 team was missing this game? But no, wait- it’s the same team that played 11 Days ago. WTF does that even mean by Dan? How about saying, “Our Team”, or, “Our Gators”, or “The Team I Assembled & Coached”? It’s almost like he is trying to distance this from himself. Could almost sware there was a little Urban Meyer in that quote.

The last time the 2020 team played, they still had McElwain’s recruits

Would it surprise anyone if Boom made an appearance as the Gators’ DC in the near future?

I don’t think so. After the way Boom was fired, I just don’t see him going back to Hogtown. He’s going back to Corn Dog country or Greater Opelika (I don’t think Harsin has announced his staff yet).

I just read that James Cook is missing the Peach Bowl because of the sudden death of his father. Hate that for the kid. Awful, awful thing.

I wouldn’t have expected him to return to Auburn, either. But I guess that separation took place under different circumstances. Trust me, I prefer for Grantham to stay put.

Look everybody and his brother knew that UF had no shot against OK with the Big 4 out. They were the offense and Trask was just a ball delivery guy. When he had actual human WR’s and TE’s he revered to being what he always was a good but not great old QB. Now in a perfect world he should win the Heisman and end that damn award forever.

Well, if he wins he’ll be well rested for the ceremony. He didn’t even play a full half before being benched.

I think the best part is this is an excuse that let’s the defense off the hook too, so he has a justification for bringing 3rd and Grantham back
