Burned that sucker to the ground

Whoa.  Who could’a seen that coming?  Well, now that you mention it…

That seems… unfortunate.  How did that happen?

Since November, Hawaii has seen 12 players, including a half-dozen starters and two out of three captains, jump into the transfer portal.

You might think that was driven by players thinking head coach Todd Graham is a dick (to be fair, they’re not the first bunch to feel that way about Graham).

Multiple current and former Hawaii players are speaking out and alleging mistreatment and abuse at the hands of head coach Todd Graham, according to a report from SFGate.com’s Marc Delucchi.

Hawaii players who played under Graham alleged Monday that he is running a toxic program in which he demeans and verbally abuses players and coaches and ignores them completely.

Last week, leading rusher Dae Dae Hunter announced he was transferring, as he felt it was “best for my future and my mental health.” Starting quarterback Chevan Cordeiro followed suit.

“Me and a lot of others can truthfully say Graham has killed our love and passion for football,” one player told SFGate on the condition of anonymity.

Things were so bad, they actually had legislative hearings about it.

We make jokes about Agent Muschamp, but it takes real coaching talent to eviscerate a program to the point where it loses to Vanderbilt by 53 freaking points.  At home.  Todd Graham, I salute you.

Candy should enjoy their week atop the SEC east standings. They will shortly begin their descent to their traditional place. I hate the fact they’re in the conference.

Why hate that they are in the conference? There isn’t a conference in the country that doesn’t have a little brother that gets picked on; why should the SEC be any different?
I started watching the game expecting a blowout. I got a blowout, too; just not the one I was expecting.
The most impressive thing to me was that when Hawaii opened with an early score and Vandy couldn’t respond I expected Vandy to fold the tents, but boy was I wrong. That RB from Rincon looked good.

I hate them because they don’t even try about football. Until a few years ago their athletic programs were run by the intramural sports. Their baseball and basketball compete but they cash sec checks without putting forth football effort. Plus we lost to them on the day my mother passed away. I listened to it on the way home from the hospital.

I was always a bit ambivalent towards Vanderbilt, similar to how I felt about squirrels. That’s right. Squirrels. Something that I engaged against and enjoyed the interaction but occasionally made me look incompetent. But mostly enjoyable. Then they chewed through the fuel line on my truck(s). Now it’s hate and no mercy. After that shit they pulled using COVID as an excuse I have the same attitude towards the commode whores. Bad enough denying the Seniors their night, but preventing the Dawgs from sharing the SEC East title is unforgivable.
          Candy ass muthafukas.

  2. Feel bad for Timmy Chang. I hope he got a good contract because that program requires a total reboot.

Channeling my Mr. CFB, you lose to Vanderbilt by 53? It’s going to be a long year.

“Is Vandy for real? Here’s how UGA loses the East”

Early in the game they ran a graphic showing that Vandy was 0-3 west of central time over the last I don’t know how many years. It led me to wonder if the stat folks could find a time zone Vandy doesn’t suck in. Asked and answered, I guess.

I can’t remember the last time Vanderbilt scored 63 points. But I can remember when they got 62 scored against them to their zip.
    Payback is a muthafuka.

In reference to Todd Graham I’ll paraphrase Justice Potter Stewart, I can’t describe abuse and mistreatment on a football practice field, but I know it when I see it and especially experience it.
Graham’s supervisor failed to protect the players and the team. Graham shouldn’t be the only one fired.

When Durkin and Court got McNair killed, Maryland’s president resigned. Not saying Graham did anything that awful, but he clearly treated a significant number of his players–including his son, if I recall–and coaches like garbage. The AD and president should and I’m sure won’t be held accountable. My last boss was cut from Graham’s cloth and got a much better job elsewhere. Admin gonna admin.
