Thursday morning buffet

The season grows closer to an end, but the buffet remains stocked.

  • Steve Spurrier is philosophical about the 2012 SEC schedules.
  • In three months, Ken Malcome goes from walking away from the program to first string tailback.
  • Any ideas on where John Jenkins was “abiding by the curfew” in Tampa?
  • Urban Meyer isn’t a distraction for the Gators.  Yeah, right.
  • Mike Bianchi, Gator troll“If the Gators don’t win, they finish with a losing record for the first time since 1979 when Charley Pell’s first UF team went 0-10-1.  It’s never good when you are the first coach in more than three decades to have a losing record. Not only that but it would be yet another blow to UF’s ego if the Gators were to lose to Ohio State, the program Meyer essentially ditched them for.”
  • I’m quite content with Tennessee saving money like this.
  • NationalChamps.net has Georgia fifth in its 2012 Early Bird Preview.
  • Donna Shalala talking about schools needing to reassess their relationships with power coaches is comedy gold, Jerry.

Nationalchamps.net also has Baylor as their preseason #7 after the team loses the one player that gives them any hope to be ranked. I wouldn’t put any stock in that website just for that….

All the gripping about Georgia’s schedule is a waste. It’s not going to matter much if we get to the Dome again and get hammered by LSU or Bama. Either this team will be good enough or it won’t

I imagine Big John is flowin’ down the streets of Ybor City searching out his good time, as there are many to be had there if memory serves…I would also imagine that is one intimidating man coming at you from the other direction up the street. I hope no over-zealous “little man” wants to prove anything. I also hope everyone on the team has a great time, enjoys themselves, then gets focused on the game – after this year they deserve a good time! Go Dawgs!

    • Ybor is a good theory but given the use of the term “distractions” I’m thinking Mons Venus. As I recall they lost their liquor license long ago so I would think that 18 YOA could be admitted and it would be very distracting . Understand I have no real information only a theory that Ybor City would be called Ybor City and strippers would be called “distractions”. Smile and wave Boys ,smle and wave.

I’m amazed at how the Macon Telegraph has the best UGA beat writer out there. Just shows how much the AJC sucks. Heck, the Chattanooga paper even has better UGA articles than the AJC.

Yeah, David Paschall of the Chatt Times/Free Press writes some nice articles about the Dawgs.

Are you smoking dope. Seth Emerson sucks. In fact most of our beat writers suck. (Maybe except Gentry Estes). My gosh….you can seriously copy and paste all the parsed information between all of them. No insight, no real analysis, no old fashioned digging… Just suck ass coverage
