Misery loves company.

Am I taking some small, irrational pleasure out of Alabama and Ohio State currently posting longer losing streaks than Georgia?  Hells, yeah.

No apology will be forthcoming, either.

I’m with ya. Couldn’t be happier for Bama, OSU, and their fan bases.

If the board was busted pre-game, that would explain why the second half was sooooooooo terrible for His Geniusness…that broken board will remain forever in the mind of Urban Meyer….chest pains for the win?

On another note, it is really had to believe the team that lost to Nebraska took Clemson to the very edge and with just the slightest little nod from Old Lady Luck, cudda beat them.

What a wierd fucking football season.

    • We started that game with players suspended and lost a couple of teeth from the cogs needed in the machine early. By the time we played the Corndogs that machine had more missing teeth that a uT fan.

Another way to look at that is without a special teams gaffe by UGA and OS, they both beat Clempson!

When Corch feels bad, I feel good. Not very noble, but tough enchiladas.

tOSU played 2 real football teams this season and lost both games. What does that say about how good the Buckeyes really were. Year after year they play a soft schedule, get ranked higher than they should be, then get drilled in a bowl by a real team. At least the media is getting wise to this and no longer is calling them the “greatest” after going through a schedule of patsies. That said, they did worm their way up to #2 before Michigan State beat them.

Not sure I would call that a “drilling”.

How about “beaten” then? I didn’t know you posted on this blog Urban but I am sure the Senator welcomes you and appreciates the fact that you don’t use your real name as a handle.

Thanks Mayor! I thought our team really looked good. When my QB graduates or moves on, I will develop “medical issues” again and have to retire…Maybe the Texas job will be open by then???? 😉

Good to see urban and saban take a loss. after all like all of the fish in the big pond they swim rather than tail-fin on top. Matt Millen, just go ahead and say it man, get it over with, stop skirting around it, and being ashamed to say…”I’m for Ohio State and every other Big 10 School when they play outside of conference.”.

Matt Millen played too long without a helmet and will forever be remembered as a failed GM in the NFL. He is the biggest B1G homer at ESPN. At least Herbie doesn’t gush about the B1G. Matt defending Paterno was the worst.

Dab-a-do did done won a big game. Give Clemson credit, 22-4 after leaving Miami 2 seasons ago with their tails beat and between their legs. Have to give those Carolina schools credit, back to back 11 wins seasons for each. And Dawgs, what 3 out of last 5 seasons not in top 25 polls. We are consistent!

I’m sure our AD has duly noted that but since it does not effect the bottom line he has tabled it until it does.

The walk-on fans are switching their allegiance to FSU as we speak.

I’ve thought of burning a shirt or two just to get out the bad mojo. Unfortunately, I’ve been to so many games and experienced so many losses that I have no more lucky shirts, magnets, flags, socks or underwear.

But don’t worry, Scorp. I’ve still got that one hat with the magic. The next time we play the Tide, it will take them down to Chinatown.

My favorite of the ‘walk-on fans’ is the guy that claims that we are setting up for the field goal with a 1st down redzone call. Yes, sir, Mike Bobo is trying to kick a field goal here. Why would we want to score touchdowns?

I wonder, he says with a deep blush, if throwing a hat that was 34-3 in Lake Ponchartrain after the 82 Sugar Bowl is the functional equivalent of burning something….thank God nobody in the cab with us had video capability.

      My God, I can’t believe I did that…it was a great hat, a miracle hat….

      Dammit!!!!! 😦

So both teams have 2 game losing streaks and it’s fun to poke fun at them. I get that since most CFB fans are sick of both schools and their coaches, but note that we aren’t anywhere near their level of play right now. NOWHERE near.
