Not gonna miss a beat, right?
Of course, if there’s any team built to survive that kind of loss, it’s the Tide.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
I don’t care who you are. You don’t get better by losing Reuben Foster.

We won’t ever have to worry about losing 173 QB pressures if we continue to read and react like Tucker had us doing. Time to dial up some heat, need to use the wolfpack to revive the Grits Blitz in this state.

Alabama gets out in front enough to force opponents into throwing the ball too much in the second half of games. When you know they’re having to play catch-up and air it out, you can lay your ears back and get those pressures. Keep it close and the pressures will ease up. Easier said than done..but a good defense that can hold down the score is the key to letting your offense mix it up..and keep the pressures down. Win first with defense.

Bama has not only the best HC in cfb, but also the best DC in cfb.
Replacing 173 QB pressures is just another day on the job.

I’m by no measure a stat geek, but I was curious how many ‘quarterback pressures’ we had last year. The only reference I could find was this http://www.cfbstats.com/2016/team/257/miscdefense/index.html which lists 36. . . Oy Vey. . .
