OT but, Senator…could you do a post (maybe a playpen) on tailgate music. What are your favorite tunes to put on a track to play at your tailgate? I’m looking for ideas this season to change things up. Thanks!

Interesting idea…
I have four tailgate playlists — 1-hour; 2-hour; 3-hour and 4-hour, so I can mix and match, based on how long the tailgate will be. Also have a playlist for the ride up to Athens and one for back to Atlanta.

I’m far from that organized…I’m more of a Burn’in Down The House kinda guy. I would love to hear your and other’s favorites, suggested songs, best place to find/download Dawg tunes, etc.
We’re (NEGA Mtn. Chapter UGA Alumni Assoc.) doing the UGA v Notre Dame game watching event at the Tiger Drive-In and wanted to make a good track to fire up the crowd before the game. 2 -hour track…

Mine is a mix of Munson, the old Bulldog songs (Clisby?), the Redcoats (I really like “Paint It Black”), Grizzard, and Willie doing Georgia On My Mind.
Would be glad to send anyone a CD of this.

Yes…this is how you do it. Mix some favorite tunes in for sure, but these classics must be included. Bonus points for using a Munson clip to intro a favorite tune on theme (e.g. “Lindsay Scott! Lindsay Scott!” then Running with the Devil. I’m sure others can come up with some more creative mixes.)
