As was the case last week, 60 teams received votes from y’all. However, there were fewer of y’all casting votes this week.
Still, a very good turnout. And we’re still putting our ballots together quickly, unlike a certain group of travelers I won’t mention.
Anyhoo, here’s how this week’s MP shapes up:
Compare that to the AP and Coaches Polls standings.
Boy, we’ve fallen in love with Pitt, haven’t we? Wake Forest, too.
Here’s the breakdown of ballots by conference: We’re still giving the SEC and Big Ten equal love.
Somebody asked to see a geographic breakdown of the voters, so here you go.
That’s been very consistent through the first three weeks of voting.
Finally, here’s how y’all answered the bonus question:
- If you do the math, you’ll see three voters left Georgia off their ballots entirely.
- On the other hand, Georgia is the only team that was above the 90% threshold this week. That’s a dominant showing.
- Nine teams appeared on over half the ballots, which is one more than last week.
Amazing how the Mumme Poll methodology is so different yet yields results so similar to the major polls.

I would love to read the arguments by those three for leaving Georgia off.

I’d bet they’re Florida and/or Bama fans demonstrating petty jealosy…and fear.
While I don’t know many Florida fans, living in west Georgia I deal with a lot of Auburn and Bama fans. Bama fans have been lashing out at Georgia fans without provocation, as if we’re taking something away from them on a personal level. Very telling that some were angry at Georgia (go figure) after they lost to TAM.
Auburn fans have been very subdued for a while now.
BTW…I think AU has a good shot in the Iron Bowl.

Looks like Danny Kanell must be a Mumme poll voter.

Pitt and WF votes just trying to see if one comes out of the ACC with a hot hand but still destined for NY6 bowl.

If Pitt or (especially) Wake runs the table from here and wins out they’ll have a solid argument to get in the playoff. Some things will have to fall their way. Ole Miss losing again helps them, etc. But an undefeated ACC Champ has a good argument over a one loss non conference champ IMO.
