Your (non-Dawg) game day post

Here’s this week’s slate of games:

Some good games to watch:

  • Oklahoma at Baylor.  If the Sooners are gonna make a move on the CFP field, this would be the place to start.
  • Purdue at Ohio State.  Boy, I would love to see Purdue pull off another upset.
  • South Carolina at Missouri.  Bowl eligibility is on the line!
  • Texas A&M at Ole Miss.  Can they stay in the mix for the SEC West?

I enjoyed reading the keys to the Gators upsetting Samford on their forum.

Flurdah getting humiliated by another bunch of Bulldogs, Penn St. flubbing a fake FGA, OK and Baylor reenacting the alley fight from “They Live.” Man, it’s been a great day.

I seem to remember Aranda getting little respect at LSU when he was there, weren’t they considering hiring him instead of da coach O?

I bet they wish they had. Baylor playing a heck of a game.

    • Keyed in on Aranda when he was at Wisc. with top 10 defenses for his tour there. LSU his defensive rankings fell off every year he was there, but I think that more due to the HC and ability to recruit “Dave’s” players. Think he is for real, and will be a force to be reckoned with over the coming years as HC at Baylor.

Auburn got hosed on a bad targeting call but all that did was mask the fact they gave up 40 straight points after leading 28-3.

We’re run blocking better than we have all year right now. This is what happens when you run a “warp speed” offense that comes up against a great defense and has some 3 and outs, or 4 and outs.

Whatever Matt Luke did to challenge this o-line this week, it worked.

FU vs. Samford. I’m convinced the FU players are trying to get Mullet fired.
