Jordan Davis is the first player since Aaron Donald to win both:

Pretty, pretty good, Mr. Davis.

Way to go, Jordan. Now go be a wrecking crew for the next 2 games.

Outfuknstanding! What’s remarkable is Davis’ accomplishment beginning as a three star. They’re developing some talent up there at UGA.

#99 ran a ton after practices to keep his weight in check (gave of himself), studied hard and learned thru listening, this cat will always rep the “G” in good standing, when you are mentioned in the same sentence as #47 you are then in ELITE company…we bow to you #99 as we are not worthy…

Really disappointed he didn’t make it a trifecta by winning the Bronko Nagurski award from The Charlotte Touchdown Club in his hometown,.. but they gave it to that Alabama player.

Jordan was part of, want to say, Kirby’s first #1 recruiting class. But he wasn’t a headline recruit. In fact, he signed late in the day. He was a 3 star out of North Carolina with a lot of ‘potential’….
Georgia is very lucky to have Mr. Davis as a player and future alumni. This young man will ALWAYS represent the University of Georgia in such a positive light.

I recall when Davis was being recruited with that big, bright Red hair and bigger laugh. I thought then he might never start but he’d be a lot of entertainment. Sure glad he came back for his senior year.

I love him as a player. He was rendered obsolete in the SEC Championship.

LMAO. That would explain why ‘Bama abandoned running the ball up the middle.

Why did they need to when the guy threw for over 400 yards?

You’d have to ask the LBs who didn’t take advantage of what Davis was doing to clog the middle of the o-line like he’s done all season.

That makes zero sense. Their run game was irrelevant. It didn’t matter. We had DBs that had no clue and shouldn’t have been playing in the first place. We got ZERO pass rush with 4 guys. It didn’t matter they shredded us.

You aren’t getting my point. Davis was tying up o-linemen on pass plays, but the inside pass rush didn’t exist.
He wasn’t obsolete. His mates weren’t doing their job.

Ok, that make sense. I agree.

Well deserved and well earned, I hope other players take a page out of this young man’s book…DGD indeed.

First since Donald and only the third all time with that distinction (Suh was the first). Pretty remarkable.
