Vegas seems concerned.

Then, again, if it were a nooner, the line might only be…

If it were a nooner it’d be -31.5 because we’d be more excited about getting it over and back to Athens for Auburn.

  2. We are good on the road for noon starts regardless of the opponent.

I don’t imagine Columbia West is going to be intimidating next Saturday night.

I haven’t posted this yet this year, but this needs to be our perspective:

Auburn only needed 217 yards of total offense to beat Missouri.

Wow. Im on a text thread with 2 of my buddies who are Bama fans (they are from Cullman and Muscle Shoals so it’s ok) and they were laughing about how inept / lucky Auburn was but I only saw the fumble for a touch ack circa Tennessee vs Us in 2013.
Mizzou is a low tier Big 10 team in the SEC. I don’t see a lot of positive signs for them going forward in this conference.

Pigg Howard fumbling was karmic justice for….EVERYTHING ELSE that happened in that game.

I’ll always remember Grantham pumping his fist and woofing after they overturned that TD. Congrats, Todd, your defense was such hot garbage that it allowed that guy to get past it and fumble through the end zone.

        • Wasn’t that the game in which half our offensive skill players got injured? Fucking Neyland turf, man. The legend just grows and grows.

Yep, and Missouri came in and beat us the next week and acted like world beaters. I know it’s about depth and injuries are part of the game, but the UGA that beat LSU and Carolina that year is not the same UGA that came back from Knoxville.

I hate that those poseurs won in Athens in 2013 in Athens against a Dawg team decimated by injuries with the fire of a thousand suns.

How those reprobates backed into winning the East in two straight seasons is nauseating. Anything that resembles validation for that band of retards is undeserved.

            Yes.

The defense, though, which steadfastly refused to stop UT so the makeshift skeleton crew on offense could just run out the clock and get out of Kneeland with a win, remained completely healthy. The cruelest of ironies.

To have been around the SEC for only 11 seasons, I’ve grown to despise those frauds. To hell with St. Louis and KC TV markets.

MiZzzou has no business being in our league and even Ray Charles can see it.

I only watched the end of the game, but Auburn and Mizzou looked like two bad teams. Neither one wanted to win. Harsin looked like he was counting his Yellawood buyout already.

I have been to Columbia west for a game. The stadium is small and not altogether as intimidating as other sec venues. Missouri has shown the ability to step up for us. An early lead may be enough to prevent that.

I went to the first two games there. I agree it’s small by SEC standards with fans not ready for prime time. They allowed their Mizzou chanting to be drowned out by chants of Grown Man Football and Mickey Mouse.

There are HS stadiums east of the Mississippi that are more impressive than in Columbia, MO.

Thdir football tradition is so strong, they don’t even need stands on one entire end of the stadium. Can’t wait to see their safe space student section jingle their keys on 3rd down.

We’re on an eight-game wining streak against them, with the closest being the squeeker in ’16, and have blown the doors off the team since Drinkwitz arrived.

The only Missouri Squad that has ever beaten UGA was their 2013 team, which was an undefeated 5-0 when we played, eventually won the SECEast, and put 6 players in the top 2 rounds of the next 2 NFL draftrs.

That Georgia squad had 1 player go in the top 2 rounds of those drafts… Todd Gurley.

Their recruiting average over the last 4 years ranks like 32nd… Ours is, a little bit higher.

It’s not that I don’t believe the Dawgs are capable of dropping a game at any time… I just don’t know that we’re seeing the same Missouri here.

The old man football game was pretty close until Jarvis took over. They kicked our ass in Athens one year. 15 and 16 were tight with wins, easons highlight td in the last seconds being a memory there. The game in Columbia I think 4 years ago was made by early mizz miscues stokes int return being memorable there. But they made it closer than it should’ve been in the second half by coming back. That being said there offense isn’t as dynamic as it was under heupal.

Mizzou don’t want any part of Kent State right now.
