The coach in Columbia ( I just cant bring myself to type or see his name) is one of the best. He still has more tricks up his sleeve, and he is setting another trap for us Sept 11.
His QB almost beat us last year in the final seconds in our stadium! Garcia hung 37 on us just getting warmed up. Without Boykin’s improbable kick-six and Smith’s 61 yard TD burst and Curran’s miraculous pass breakup, they should have beat us.
In WB stadium, UGA offense is always confused, intimidated, lost. Since 1996, we have played there 7 times. Our offense has avg 15 ppg in this stretch. 15 ppg? I remember in 2000 our Heisman touted QB Quincy Carter threw 5 interceptions in a night game there.
The cocks are balanced and primed. Our D must be ready for the fight of their lives in a hostile stadium.
Do not believe the press hype searching for a story.

The infamous “Zone Blitz” performance by Quint-cy, ugh.
Some friend of mine went and said leaving Columbia that day was the worst day of their Dawg life. Hours of cars honking and people pointing, laughing and jeering at the Georgia car.

If Tori Gurley could have caught the 2 or 3 passes (that Garcia put right in his facemask), the game wouldn’t have even been close. So glad Prince Miller is gone. Miller was just another example of a Byrnes High bust.

Speaking of Byrnes busts, how stupid was Willy Korn?
The kid got beaten out by Parker, but now Parker may wind up leaving for MLB. Instead of toughing it out and competing, Korn packed it up and went home.
Now Clemson could be stuck with Boyd, a freshman, and Korn could have gotten his job back. Unbelievable.

Sounds like Spurrier is getting a little cranky in his old age. He’d mellowed for a few years.

Spurrier is probably leaving when Garcia does. He thnks this is his best chance to win the SEC east. I do too. USC or the Dawgs this year.

The question was would CSS bench an upperclassman QB in favor of a freshman? Ask Terry Dean. He was the starting QB and a Heisman candidate when CSS benched him midway through his senior year and started freshman Danny Wuerffel instead. I understand Dean does not speak to CSS even now.

There is nothing more disingenuous than Jax fans comparing the RRR to the WLOCP. I’ve never seen anyone complain about the state’s it’s in as much as the travel for each team.
