Lede of the day

Nobody’s gonna top this:

A Georgia Tech football fan has filed a lawsuit after she says she was strip searched over a chicken sandwich.

And, yes, the rest of the story lives up to the opener.  Enjoy.

How outrageous! They obviously exclude season ticket holders from the 4-tickets, cokes and hot dog promotion … If they were do so this whole mess could have been avoided.

    So . . . many . . . punchlines . . .

    * Wow, I mean, I knew Techies were desperate to see a naked woman, but I didn’t know they’d gotten THAT desperate.

    * If the NCAA determines that the Chick-fil-A sandwich was an “impermissible benefit,” will Tech have to vacate that game, too?

    * Next time this happens, Paul Johnson says just punch the policeman in the face.

    * Not to justify what the officer did, but that was about the best defense Tech showed all season.

    * Wait, Georgia Tech has fans?

Thanks. I’ll be here all evening. Remember to tip your waitress.

In a police report, Georgia Tech officer Shandricka McKenzie gives a different story, writing” to my surprise, the individual then without instructions unbuttoned her pants and lowered them to the floor and lifted her shirt.”

Afterward, Officer Shandricka threw her some beads because even old Tech girls are easy.

“It was very humiliating and degrading,” Clayton said.
“Now, Clayton said she’s giving up her season tickets”

Anyone that has season tickets for GTU football loses all credibility when it comes to complaining about humiliation and degradation.

I dont know, X. I think you could argue pretty effectively that, merely by being a GTU season ticket holder, they’ve already made her suffer enough. Did they have to humiliate her, too?

This story really makes me want a chicken sandwich.

Obviously, there really is no such thing as bad publicity.

Well… Unless you’re tech. This may not help their ticket sales – except for with the very most desperate of tech fans. Theyll be lining up at the gates with a chicken sandwich down their pants. So yeah, no such thing as bad publicity.

  13. People, people! We’re clearly missing the most important and unbelievable part of this entire thing. “She”? Really?

After seeing the “victim” in the news clip linked in the article, I think we can rule out sexual misconduct here.

Although probable cause becomes an issue. The responding officer had no reason not to believe that she didn’t just stuff the offending sandwich down her gullet.

The most amazing part of the whole story is the fact that someone paid money to have Tech season tickets.

It would have been okay if it was a fried fish sandwich.

the last time I read something this tragic, it was written by Sophocles. I guess he could have written this, if he’d been more interested in Dungeons and Dragons than awkward family relationships in Thebes. I guess we can call this a GEEK tragedy.

OK, Keith, I’ll attempt to take the challenge:

While the officer failed to find the chicks chicken sandwich, she did find a partially eaten taco.

The former GT chick with the Fil-A pants is now satirized as a Taco Belle.

The Tech Chick with the chicken filling her A complained that she had been battered which was a surprise to all the Techies who said they had always eaten her plain.

  23. I love the security guard lying and saying she just inexplicably took off her pants and top.

    1) Why did you take her into the bathroom if you weren’t going to be strip searching her (oops… Shandricka sounds about as smart as Fla Rep Corinne Brown).

    2) Seriously? You seriously expect us to believe that?

Before the Georgia AG’s office is done working on Shadricka it’ll be Shadricka trying her best to keep Ms. Chik-Fil-A from taking off her clothes–“Stop undressing or else” she ordered. In a louder voice she shouted: “I am not strip searching this woman” to everyone watching her strip search the woman.
