Pat Dye’s article sounds like it was written by a pretty smart 6th grader.

That might be a little harsh. I don’t imagine he writes very much. He’s a 75 year old hall of fame coached asked to fill some space during the off season.

Maybe Pet would have been better off if he had just said no.

Pat Dye love runs deep here, apparently.
My take on it is we are dealing with a guy that weighs in on everything regardless of need or relevance.
I admit he’s pretty good in on-camera interviews and on the radio. Maybe, though, he should stay away when “someone asks him” to write for the paper because it sounds a little too much like “3 reasons why I like summer vacation by: Patty Dye.”.

How is that skunk even allowed to say anything in print about college football and why would anyone would listen? He’s a cheater and was caught red-handed. Why don’t we get the memoirs of Charlie Pell and print them online, too?

Because he’s good with book titles?

“In a closed society where everybody’s guilty, the only crime is getting caught. In a world of thieves, the only final sin is stupidity.”
Dye is an old man, threadbare and marked by indiscretions and alcoholism trying to recoup some of his former glory. He was once a Georgia player all SEC and and two time All American. I am not apologizing for his poor behavior or lack of character. But you get to cast the first stone. I’m not putting myself on a pedestal. I’m sure I’ve terminated more men than you have worked with in your life. I’ve never been known for my patience. And I frequently ate lunch alone. I’m just older, wiser, and more tolerant now. I don’t eat by myself anymore.

Or by a semi-functional alcoholic who really isn’t too bright to begin with.

According to that axiom, Malzahn is safe.

Because he doesn’t have even one starting QB.

It’s a bit hard to claim you were being provoked when you and your buddy gang up on someone from behind as they’re walking away. Pathetic.

Damn! CMR is really doing well in the opener/by-week winning percentage stat. He’s tied with Rich Rodriguez and right behind LLoyd Carr!!!!

  5. Hmm, noticed on those Hash Tags restrictions enter alia, they didn’t remove or downsize the names on the backs of the jerseys that the NCAA makes money off the corresponding number when presented on a video game.
