I think the very bottom, and the top, of all fan bases in CFB look almost exactly alike. It is only the size and proportion that varies. I do think SEC fans are more likely to have their worst fans get on radio, twitter, blogs, call-in shows etc., and then proceed to monopolize them. Bad form.

What is wrong with this guy, or any other fan, displaying his displeasure with the Dawgs? Sure, burning a flag is a tad much in my opinion. But the guy is apparently fed up with this team/coach/staff/AD and he let his feelings be known. I see nothing wrong with what this guy has done. As a frequent guest of this site I, among many others, have voiced our displeasure with the program, coach, staff and/or AD from time to time. I have never burned any of my gear, but I have certainly been completely fed up with this program over the years and I have let it be know here and everywhere.

The dude is frustrated and fed up. For some enough is enough. I know that i have been fed up and frustrated with this program at times (2006-2010). As others have pointed out above, a Gator Bowl loss to Nebraska may not be the right game to get bent over. Some believe he went overboard, but not to this gentleman. I hope he stops writing checks to B-M to further prove his point if he feels this strongly. Bringing about change one less dollar at a time.

What nothers me about it is that it is my alma mater that he is insulting by doing so. He has every right to do it, but if you supposedly support an institution, there are other ways to show your dissatisfaction with the individuals who have displeased you without destroying a symbol of the institution you say you support.

I agree 100%. I would no more burn a UGA flag than the American Flag… I respect the institution no matter what. Criticism is always fine.. but inflammatory (no pun intended) actions like this are uncalled for on any level.
