They knew, yet they hired a coach and continued the charade…amazing I have seen some college administrations do some strange things, but this is pretty high on the stupid list.

I agree. Increasingly, though, it appears that the admin was given a mandate by the BOR….which would explain their sloppiness. They might have not been willing partners in the mandate, either.
