My two favorite post-game quotes from yesterday:
Chubb, when asked whether Georgia’s 423-rushing yard performance showed the identity of the team, grinned at the reporter.
“We want to run the ball,” Chubb said. “And I think you know that.”
Then Chubb giggled. Yes. Giggled.
Nick Chubb, giddy. Actually, that’s a little scary.
Five different Georgia players had carries in the first half and Gaillard maybe should have been credited for one when he pushed the pile for five yards on one first-half run.
“I told them, hey, I got at least four yards on that myself,” Gaillard said.
I said the exact same thing watching that play.
I could get used to this kind of happy talk.
