The Gus Bus is on cruise control.

While Malzahn shrugged off blowing a 20-point lead to Ed Orgeron’s team, he’s got a former Auburn player lobbying for his job on Facebook and his current starting quarterback letting the world know that he doesn’t have the power to audible out a given called play.

In other words, things couldn’t be better on the Plains.  War Eagle!

Things went bad for them against LSU, but they are still a team that will be very dangerous when the Dawgs play them. They will be looking for redemption. We may have been better off if they’d have beaten LSU. Georgia, if still undefeated, should be a very slight favorite.

Gus explained in his press conference that he does not call plays anymore, that is done by offensive coordinator? Maybe he better consider giving a little direction there.

Peace of mind is knowing you won’t get canned until your athletic department gets cleaned up first and that the cleaning is going to take awhile.

Auburn is on track for a repeat of their great underperformance of last year after starting as the favorite (of many) to win the SEC West.

They can easily lose two of their three remaining games: at TAM, vs UGA and vs Bama.

Another disappointing 8-win season is juuuuust right for Gus.

Rat poison is everywhere and more will be put out.
The remaining games will be different.
Once again and more than ever, UF, Auburn,SC and GT will be balls to the wall to upset the Dawgs
And Kentucky may very well be playing for the SECeast. Georgia should beat each one, but it’s going to get dicey at least a couple of times.
If not, I’m elated. It will mean the the Georgia mindset and week to week focus has totally and completely changed.

I’m stuck in the “Full-Munson” mindset, but every day I open the refrigerator and see that big pitcher of cool aide sitting there and sometimes I can’t help it and I take a sip.

If the 28 points we gave up to the worst team n the SEC does not get your attention, close the damn refrigerator….

You sure do harp on that “28 points to the worst team in the SEC” business an awful lot…
What’s the matter? You lose a bunch of money betting against us?
Since you refuse to listen to positive thinking, true Dawg fans on this site, maybe you should skip on over to some of Alabama’s threads, and listen to Coach Saban who, even if his team suddenly imploded and he lost the remainder of his games this season, would still go down as probably the greatest college football coach who ever lived.
Know what he said a while back to a reporter who asked a question that was skeptical and poor-mouthing in nature?
” This is the SEC. You can’t beat everyone in this league 66-3. No matter how good you are.”

Anybody else a bit peeved that the takeaway narrative from the national media after the weekend of upsets was “Alabama is peerless?” I swear, aside from the talking heads on SeC network, everyone else acted as if there wasn’t another undefeated team in the country.

There’s a helluva lot fewer of them after this weekend. I’m content for us to remain as under the radar as a Top 4 team can be.

Cruise control!? That purple & gold spike strip has the Gus Bus upside down in the median of mediocrity.

Auburn’s QB doesn’t need to audible to win the Heisman.
