It’s a little amazing to me that the SEC would choose to promote one of the more atrocious games in conference history.
It’s like making sure we’re all in on the same bad joke. Strange way to brand, but what do I know?

11 years ago today, 3-2 happened.
It is the only football game in SEC history to finish with that score. pic.twitter.com/yntlGXVugm

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Back then we used to revel in games like that. Didn’t LSU beat Bama 6-3 around then as well? Amazing what a little offense can do to spruce things up.

If I never see that 2015 UGA-Missouri game again, it’ll be too soon.

Since they always move ahead in the action in replays this would be a short replay.

There might be 30 seconds worth viewing from that assault on the eyes.

Something about, I went to see the Auburn v Miss. St. football game, and a baseball game broke out.

I did my postgrad at KSU and I’ll never forget the ice storm of 2011. Mrs. Hobnail and I were living in a small apartment at the time, very near a hilly intersection. We heard a few crashes and realized that a number of idiots were actually trying to drive. So what did we do? If you guessed lawn chairs and beer, you are correct. We would cheer the crashes and boo the near misses.
3-2 was thrilling in the same way. I actually watched that one live and even through there were other, better games on at same time, I simply could not look away.

3-2 in that football would be a Big 12 in our football. 😉

It didn’t seem that deep to me. I read it as an anomaly of modem cfb and nothing more, certainly not SEC branding.

It’s like the Challenger. 9/11. I remember exactly where I was when that happened.

Defense and plodding offense…it just means more.

Personally I like low scoring defensive battles. I watched that game. All of it. I thought at the time (1) that it was a great game and (2) Auburn was very lucky to have won it.

Not to get political, but it’s kind of like embracing the term when someone calls your group “deplorable”. It’s an inside joke that seems nonsensical to rational people on the outside.

And baseball games are now ending 21-7.
