One day the people of Mississippi will look back at the days The Pirate and Kiffin were coaching their schools at the same time and call them the glory days – regardless of their record – my guess is Kiffin will not be in Mississippi much longer. His stud QB off to the NFL and numerous opportunities coming.

I reminder for the Leach haters: He now has four wins over ranked teams in two years at MSU.
Sideshow Dan the Clown had six in nine years, and that got him the Floriduh job.

You know that includes an LSU team that finished 5-5 and Tulsa on the way to going 4-7, right?
Tough loss at Memphis this year, but that is a 1-3 team in the AAC so you have to account for that.
I don’t hate the guy, btw. I just think he’s demonstrably WAY overrated by fan boys infatuated with a wackado who appears he might be “on the spectrum” and has 0 championships in 21 years of coach. And I’m very glad my team’s AD has never been that fan boy.

Sometimes I wonder if Leach doesn’t have a clue that he’s eccentric or that’s just his schtick. He’s an average Head Coach with above average camera time.
