    This from a man who was fired from the university and program of which he speaks. It was his time to go, but who gets fired and does this?

    Some speak of him as St. Mark derisively. I’d say St. Mark is about right.

    Thanks for posting this. It’s great to hear his voice again and it’s clear he loves Georgia. Wish his time had a happier ending. He s a great man who changed the course of Georgia football and the lives of his players. Best wishes and strength for his fight, the water girl and their family. A DGD.

    I hope that I, and my children, can walk through our lives with the attitude and class that Mark Richt has. I really want a national title, but I want his ability to navigate life and its disappointments even more.

    I’m not sure you can find another coaching parallel to Mark Richt. League expansion, Spurrier, Corch and Saban. BCS then CFP. The goalposts of measuring success were constantly being moved. It’s really hard to define his legacy, but there is no debate about defining the man…a Damn Good Dawg forever. Thank you Coach Richt!

    The Redcoats and the AA did a spectacular job honoring Mark Richt the man and the coach this afternoon. It was a totally fitting tribute to his contributions to both the university and the players that he coached. #DGD
