Who’d a thunk “suspicion of needles” was against the law? What if he was a diabetic? What makes a person look like they have needles while driving down the road to be pulled over in the first place?

Ed Kilgore said this about Craig James:

“It’s a shame he can’t turn his national notoriety into a few more points of name recognition in the state where he is actually running.”

I think Ed, a Democratic strategist, would enjoy having Craig as an opponent. I cannot blame him.

See – I try and tell my friends – cops and ex-girlfriends – now there are TWO reasons NOT to be on facebook.

Wow. For the first time I’m aware of, I agree with Nick Saban on something. I wanted West Virginia instead of Missouri, too.

“It would enlarge the outside committee on infractions [COI], which adjudicates those cases, from 10 members to 18 or more, permitting smaller subpanels to handle individual cases more expeditiously. And most notably, it would ratchet up penalties.”

To make this enlargement easier on the membership, Emmert has told VP for Enforcement and Pain Julie Roe Lach that she can bring in Madonna and her crew to ratchet up a subpanel, which will be referred to as a little COItis

Heck, if I had known that about Madonna’s show before halftime, I would have watched.

And my Black and Tan, Fannie Mae, cried, “aahWOOooo”! to your last posted word. Slick.

I noticed in the MSU plays that Aaron never looked at the left side of the field. I know he has reads but something seems to indicate that he needs to take an Evelyn Wood Speed Reading course. He is slow to come off his first guy and while Bobo has the routes called Aaron never gets to them. Another thing I noticed in that game is that Charles never even chipped the MSU rush end, the dude was coming unblocked.

I noticed there was no death penalty option for a repeat offender school that, say for instance (and I’m not trying to get too specific here. Just spitballing, you understand), pays a JUCO transfer upwards of $200,000 to come in and steal a crystal trophy for them and their career-long mediocre head coach. Just, you know, up to a three year bowl ban should suffice.

I like the addition of fines to the NCAA punishment. I might like it even more if the fines came directly out of the offending coaches’ salaries.

Thanks for the shout-out and link, Senator. And apologies for stealing your “buffet” label for the mid-day roundups I do at my own blog!
