As I posted at the beginning of the week, now when these guys miss a tackle, it startles you.

No inside linebacker has more solo tackles or more stops without missing a tackle against the run than Georgia's Roquan Smith. pic.twitter.com/gH0eZ0EHXi

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Florida doesn’t tackle so well, eh?
As Wolfgang would say: “Very interesting.”

Georgia has the lowest number of missed tackles….if your not first, you’re last.

Seems there ain’t much of Boom’s defense left in Gainesville.

I see I’m not the first to notice how bad Florida is at tackling. That’s going to be exciting for our run game. I wish I could be more optimistic because everything says we should win but 2014 continues to haunt me.

Oh come on. Glad the team isn’t as squeamish as our fans. 2014 has nothing to do with 2017 teams, or coaches. Enjoy the good times, they don’t come around all that often.

What has impressed me is the arm tackles vs throwing your body at a ball carrier and expecting him to fold. Arm tackling is getting it done.

Good to see Reed is a “shut down corner.” Now about the long ball…

I wonder if either of these two guys garner nfl scout’s interest…

I wish they NFL folks would tell #3 he needs another year to really convince them he us ready for the next step. Another year of S&C perhaps could guarantee him LT money, something like that.

Just confirming should we lose it’s 100% squarely on your shoulders posting the non-stop stat porn Senator. You’re pretty much the commentator prior to a field goal attempt “He’s made 46 in a row from this distance, NO WAY he misses this one . . . .

Different guy, but I saw Trent Thompson tackle Appalachian State’s right guard, tackle, and running back at the same time. For a loss. Right in front of me.
Your comment reminded me of that. 🙂
