The way those final minutes played out are all on him. I don’t know why people are held hostage by that moral victory against Alabama. I’ve watched Florida against one really bad team in Tennessee and one fair to middling team in Kentucky and it is clear to me that a Florida is nothing to write home about. They’re undisciplined. They commit a lot of penalties. Their offensive line is nothing special. They have a running back playing quarterback who is prone to making dumb decisions. This is not a very good football team. And Mullen seems to think if they almost win that’s really the same thing as an actual win. May he be in Gainesville a long time. He’s got all of Fish Fry’s arrogance and delusion and lack of recruiting skill and none of his on field coaching ability.

Their penalties were ridiculous including the classic three different ones on the same play in the fourth quarter.

I loved the announcers discussing the question if they had ever seen 3 at one time…then later in the game one quipped ‘only two on this play’

They really have turned into what we used to be. Undisciplined and unable to see they aren’t as good as they think they are although that second thing may be changing. Emory Jones May be a nice kid for all I know but the way they keep acting like he’s anything other than an athlete trying to play quarterback is weird. Help me on the Richardson kid. Why is everybody so high on him? I’ve seen only a little of him but he looks big and slow. Is he a good passer? Is it just a matter of people always being infatuated with the backup because he hasn’t made them mad yet?

Mullen is only happy when he has a particular player or assistant coach to throw under a bus. This one was completely on him, so he has to obfuscate with facts that, while true, do not reflect his own personal failings.
In other words, he’s an a$$hole.

I can’t wait till the cocktail party!!!!!!!!!! UF has now been exposed. I saw a bunch of 3rd & Grantham last night. (lather, rinse, repeat) Jones is still not accurate on downfield throws. Unless he starts AR15 against us they won’t have a chance of winning. Their run game is decent, but nothing our D can’t handle. Their D will not stop our run game. I hope we build an early lead and put Stetson in and turn him loose for some revenge. Unless we suffer a couple of brain farts we are going to ATL. Life is good this morning.

Just came from over there again. Y’all really need to go see it for yourselves. One thread is entitled “This game shows why recruiting matters”. One guy said, “Yeah we definitely need to recruit players that can remember the snap count. How many stars does that take?” One of them said, “I’m sick and tired of hearing about the Dan Mullen offense and how he will just outscheme more talented teams. Bull crap. You can’t scheme around superior talent.” One guy said, and this is my favorite, that they “deserve better”. Nope. What they deserve is exactly what they have right now. Their coach is emblematic of their fan base. Lazy, entitled, and unjustifiably arrogant.

Swamp 24/7 has been on fire since last night. It is becoming like a great novel where you can’t put it down and each chapter is more intriguing than the last. No respect for those guys. They think they’re good coaches because they ride their 5 star players to wins. It’s pure weakness and borderline cheating to have better players than your opponents. That’s not what COACHING is all about.

Exactly. KY did not play a great game but they weren’t sloppy and didnt overlook the impact of ST and playing good defense. Yeah, FL had more yardage, look at how they sleepwalk through ST and their D players just want to be on highlight reels. Not disciplined and not well coached. Seems FL doesn’t have time for the details.

I keep reading that the Turds have become what we used to be. I have to give them credit. They have done that AND exceeded the standard that we set by many magnitudes. Even at our depth, we were never this crazed. Damn it’s a great to be a GEORGIA BULLDAWG!!!

You know when Stoops won that game?
It was when he chewed the zebra’s worthless asses out for the whole five minutes of a commercial break time out. They had absolutely screwed Kentucky on two PI calls (one deep PI and D holding on UF on a deep pass that was a no-call…..and another just minutes later when there was a literal arm scrum between a UF receiver and a KY defender..both were guilty as hell, but they called it on KY).
To say that Stoops lit them up in an elongated Muschampish rage is an understatement. Afterwards, they never screwed Kentucky again..but seemed to be more stringent against UF.
His players saw that he cared enough to risk ejection to get them a fair game. Good on Stoops. He’s a damn good coach. They played to win after that.
Too bad it had to come to that but it absolutely did.
Especially with the long history of Refs screwing KY against UF.
SEC refs are either the dumbest of the crookedest officials in the business…or both.
It scares the hell out of me every time we play one of their pet teams..like this coming Saturday.

In defense of Coach Mullet, I think it could be said that in the last possession by Florida, his coaching was unmatched. Not just any old coach could have his team fail on so many opportunities to tie the game.
