There is no “it”, as in singular. If there is a single problem, it’s Mullen. But you know that.

Here’s a something to ponder:
When you take everyone you possibly can from the Transfer Portal without being discerning, you’re going to take a lot of guys who have already quit and given up on their teams and coaches for selfish reasons as opposed to carefully selecting a few guys you’ve vetted who aren’t like that.
Floriduh is full of quitters because Sideshow Dan the Clown is such a bad recruiter he had no choice but to take all comers in the Transfer Portal.

And I don’t know how you recover from your team flat-out quitting on you, which it clearly seems the Gators did against South Carolina last night. You can overcome a talent deficit with crafty coaching/scheming; you can overcome subpar coaching with sheer talent; you can even overcome lax recruiting by getting lucky with the transfer portal. But if your team has so little respect for you that they’ll go out there and let the whole program get embarrassed in front of thousands of people, I don’t see how there’s any way back from that.
And it’s not just this season that’s lost. How does Mullen come back next year and say, “Guys, I know you gave up on me last year, but I’ve got it all figured out now, I promise”?

Yea. He seems like he’d talk a lot, but at least one of those quotes in the Feldman piece was an asst and I bet they all are. I bet an offensive staffer from Beamers bunch, which is prolly an echo.

Who knows who said what? What is pretty consistent is that a LOT of coaches seem to be more than willing to discuss MuLLLLLen off the record. It also appears that none of them have any use for him. Not a likeable human being (Grantham fits right in there as well). I wonder if his mother even likes him?
