The Dawg porn, she burns.

This part of Bruce Feldman’s interview with the folks running the Senior Bowl ($$) will get your blood racing:

Nagy: “I love this defense.”

Ellenz: “Their defense rivals the Miami early 2000 crews.”

Nagy: “Some of those Alabama teams might have more first round picks but this crew is so hungry. They rotate everyone except the safeties. Even the corners come off the field. When they get on the field, it’s like a coach’s dream. They play their asses off. Every kid flies around. It’s special.”

Nagy closes with something UGA assistant Will Muschamp told him. “His tone of voice was interesting. He said if you saw our Tuesday post-practice run period, we could charge admission. He called it a blood letting.”

I’ve gotten to the point where I believe Georgia looks like an Alabama team and Alabama looks like a Georgia team.

    • I believe it translates from the original Boomish as “they’re really gettin’ after it”. 😉

Yeah context isn’t all there. Does this mean the coaches are running junction boys or are the players creating competition between themselves?

Either way, if true, the recruiting will be “go to Georgia and you’ll get hurt.” Not sure how I feel about that, mostly not good but some of it is “man up”, football as they say is not feelings ball.

Every Tuesday was “Bloody Tuesday”. We would listen for Coach Dooley to say something like, “we the coaches, did not do a good job of being ready to play”, then we knew that it would be a “Bloody Bloody Tuesday”. Maybe a triple bloody Tuesday. Fun times.

  3. Could this be the reason for all the injuries? Or it could be the reason for all the winning.

The most amazing part of all of this is how Kirby has gotten everyone to buy in. Everyone substitutes in and out. As far as we know, there are not rivalries or divisions over playing time or who starts. In this day and age that is nothing short of a miracle. This appears to be a TEAM and not just a collection of talented individuals. Everyone of them was THE MAN from the time they were in pee wee football has been told what a phenomenal player they are. To have ALL of them check their egos and buy into the team concept is some otherworld coaching. It also speaks volumes about the type of player not just athlete that Kirby is targeting. It appears he has team full of leaders and not a bunch of selfish assholes. This is the CULTURE that is so important to winning programs. Perfect example of talent alone will not get you playing time is everyone’s favorite transfer Brenton Cox. Buy in or be gone.

2023 4-star WR Raymond Cottrell backs off Florida commitment, flips to UGA
Any confirmation on this? Don’t know much about him but if it screws the TURDS, then I’m good with it.
