I took last week as a validation of my voting approach so far this season. It’s too late to stop now.

With regard to the foodie question, I’m not an Athens regular, so I stuck with what I know — Cali N Tito’s.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
I am still in the “every power five undefeated” train. I’ll probably stay there until there are fewer than four of them left.

To wit: I can’t get what the Senator’s got for tOSU over Michigan, personally.

I will admit it’s a close call, but not close enough.

I seconded your Cali N’ Tito’s, Senator. Normally I’d have gone with the old fave like DePalma’s, but my son recently introduced Cali N’ Tito’s to me; now that’s the go-to when I visit. Damn good Cuban food.

I ranked more teams and voted for Last Resort. I could take it or leave it but my wife loves the food there and we always go when we go downtown unless they tell us its a 3 hour weight.
Senator, I thought you would have voted for Mayflower.

UGA, Ohio State, Oregon and TCU.
I included Oregon since it has been as dominating as OSU, Michigan, UT and TCU since it was unfortunate enough to play us.
My restaurant vote was Hi-Lo lounge. I realize it isn’t fancy but I like it.

The eastside Cali N Tito’s had the most spectacular Halloween decoration setup of any business I’ve ever been to when I ate their the night before the Vandy game. Just outstanding work, and the food is obviously always excellent.

IMO, Michigan to me has looked much more dominant in Oct/Nov than OhioSt. Ohio still is loved by adbvanced stats, so I kept them. But I am down to only those two plus UGA.

Leaving this to educate the masses. Check out Senor Sol on Tallassee Rd- it’s way out in the west side in a sketchy gas station but it is one of the best Mexican places you’ll ever find. Thank me later.

’cause I’m an idiot. Just found it. The filet mignon burger at the porterhouse grill is bonkers.

Cali N Tito’s is probably the best bang-for-buck restaurant in town. Five and Ten is superb (and my vote for best in Athens) but you have to spend a pretty penny. Kelly’s Jamaican food is also fantastic, but it somehow gets overlooked despite being at five points.

I voted DePalma’s for many reasons. I have never had a bad (or even mediocre) meal there in the 30+ years I have eaten there.
